It's been a busy week.

On Monday I spoke with my CMU400 partner about our project. I don't know when I should be gathering information and researching, I suppose I should do it soon. :P 342 was a pointless class, and afterwards, Wilson and I went to Target to get Annie a birthday present.

Since her birthday has past, I can tell you all this. *heh* Well, he ended up getting her a red faceplate for her phone. Apparently she wanted one, which I wasn't aware of. I got her a star lightswitch cover, since she likes them star/moon things there. Then we went to Bartell's so he could get a hands-free headset for his phone.

When he dropped me off, I felt SICK. I was feeling something when we were at Target, some light-headedness, but I thought it was because I hadn't eaten for a while. But no, it was just plain sickness. I took some Nyquil and Sleepy-Time tea and studied for my exam on Friday. I felt the effects of everything before 11 and went to bed.

I ended up sleeping until maybe 2am or something, but the point is, I STAYED UP. I just kept rolling around because I was hot and cold and I was semi-conscious all night. At one point, Lar did wake up and notice that I was totally awake and I managed to tell him that I hadn't been sleeping for hours.

Well, when it was actually time to get up, I still felt very sick and dizzy. So I stayed home. And what really sucked was that it was for the class with the midterm on Friday! So I went back to bed at 9 and woke up again for my soaps. I had some soup, which didn't taste all that great and a sandwich.

Wednesday I did manage to go to class, but I left at the break during 342. I was supposed to meet up with this girl I was paired with for Friday's discussion, but I just told her I was sick and gave her a copy of the handout I made.

I was feeling better but I wasn't sure if I was up to going to the bars at midnight. Annie's birthday was the 19th and the plan was to go to the bars at midnight so she could have something to drink. Well, as midnight came closer, I decided that 1) I felt fine and 2) I studied enough for my exam. So I went along with them.

Wilson was supposed to come with us but he backed out at the last possible minute. That kind of bugged since he obviously KNEW we had to do this thing at/after midnight..and he goes ahead and falls asleep...Oh well!

We ended up at this bar on Roosevelt. Annie's free drink was this shot of something and she wanted another. Then a white Russian and then a long island tea. All this while standing at the counter. So we got a table and I ended up getting her and myself a rum&coke. Then Bennetts bought her a sex on the beach...and since we were all poor, and even THO one shouldn't pay on their birthday, she paid for her last two drinks..a fuzzy navel and something else. She had a lot.

Ended up at Dick's at 1.30 and I had a cheezburger, I was starving! Then they dropped me home and I went to bed w/o taking a shower. Ha ha.

On Thursday we had review, which was not really useful. There was an extra credit opportunity..which was really easy, but ya know, I didn't have my CALCULATOR with me. I had my BOOK, but not my calculator! So I'm sitting there, shaking my head, doing long division, and I'm sure they thought I was really struggling with the problem. I'm special.

I went home and Lar and I went to breakfast, since today was his day off. Then he went to a study group while I studied at home. Wilson and I went to get a birthday cake around 5pm and then I studied in his room while he went to an RA meeting. Annie was busy with work and a study session.

So we caught up at her place and it was nice. She liked her stuff and we talked for a bit. Then went home around 9pm.

As for Friday, I had to be concerned with my discussion and my midterm. I got to class early and my partner sat with me. Discussion went as well as it could, with very little participation. But it's fair since I hardly ever say anything as well. I just stood up there and blabbed, asked my 'thoughtful question' waited for any kind of response, then I blabbed on about something else. We were up there a good while.

I had told my TA that I was gonna leave after this to study for my exam and I did just that.

Now, all this week, I got into this mindframe..about how..I don't have many friends. I realized most of this after I got back from the bar because Lar pointed out that everyone who went...was from Olympia. I find nothing wrong with that. Not that he did, but I was just thinking about how few friends I've made at school. At times it bothers me but others it doesn't..I do have friends that I am happy with so why want something else, right?

Well, I will at times....reach out and be friendly to try and catch someone's attention.....and I did this when I got to class early. This older woman (mother/wife type) asked me a question, which I answered. Then I told her that if she did the problem he gave us in class, that she would totally understand bionomial distribution. She said she didn't do it, so I offered to help her with it.

Of course she was happy, so I helped her..but then one of her friends showed up and just croweded me out of it. Sure, we were in the finishing steps of the problem...and at one point during the helping, she did thank me a lot..but I was VERY non-plussed with how I was literally tossed to the side. So I just turned around and read some more.

It's just so fucking infuriating, how some people can be such fucking jerks at this school. OMG.

Anyways, the exam was a two-part...multi-choice and then calculations. Sure someone forgot their scantron, but I was NOT gonna be used TWICE. The questions were easy, but I probably tripped myself up anyways..and the calculations were really easy.

I stopped off for some China First, to go, but no one would take my order. So I flagged this guy down, confused him, then he got my order. But at least he didn't correct me when I asked for sweet&sour chicken..and not pork. :) I ate and then went to bed.

I was sleeping when the phone rang, so I thought it might be Annie or Wilson. But I still answered the phone..in a normal manner..and it was someone from Cityseats.com. Okay, I applied to work there a few weeks ago, w/o reading in detail the job description. I can't work 4hrs during the hours of 8-1pm. The woman even called me and told me to call her back but I didn't. And now she's calling again!

I expressed my concern and they said they were flexible and worked with a lot of college students, but she'd get back to me! WOW. So I'm really glad I answered the phone nicely. :) Went back to bed, Lar came home and then we hung out a little.

We were gonna go to the rally but he wanted to study and then Mike thought we weren't going, so he was still up at Lynnwood. So fine, I went with Wilson over to Annie's cuz tonight we were going to the CASINO.

So we hung out there and he was very demanding for entertainment and stuff like that, so I was like..whatever. Domingo came back from the volleyball game and then we piled into the car. First we needed to get Jeff, but he wasn't ready for a while...so we went to look for a bank. It was FAR.

Got Jeff and went to Muckleshoot..which was even FURTHER. We get there and well, Domingo can't get in. He can't get in because his ID, which is a valid duplicate of his real license, had a hole-punch in it so he could put it on his keychain! So he went back to the car and we went in quickly to blow Annie's $10.

She lost it all on the slot machines. *L* She did win $10 twice, after gambling down to $3, but so lost it all. We're leaving and I'm looking around cuz I had jokinly said that we could probably see my parents!

And well, THERE THEY WERE. *L* So I ran over there, yanked on my dad's sleeve and put my hand out. I got a twenty. We stood a bit and then left. Turns out my mom gave Annie $5 too. So then we went back to the car...and Domingo had called to another, nearby casino and they said they could take him in.

So. We went there and it was sooooo teeny compared to Muckleshoot. But he played his cards and we sat and waited. We were gonna go to the bars, but it was after 1am, so it would be last call soon. We drove around Pioneer Square and then I felt sick again so we started dropping people off.

I went straight to bed. :P

Saturday I went home with my sister. I returned my damn books cuz I hate them and I drove. We ate and then I went to bed. I woke up at 3.30 to go to my dentist appointment. Everything is fine, but they want me to floss more. :PPPPPP So then I went home and got her to go to Mervyn's and I bought some shoes.

Then I changed and went over to Amber's since she's had a bebe and we hung out for a couple hours, just talking about whatever. Like nothing's happened. We only talk a few times a year and it doesn't really feel like much time has passed. So I was glad to see her. :)

I went over to Annie's right away because I was running late. I was running late because it took me THREE TRIES to find the turn to leave Amber's development! It sucked, but I got out and went there. Nelson showed up and we went to the Spar. Sat in the bar and listened to some live jazz...ate foodstuffs, then we ordered some drinks. Long island tea, baby!

I sucked it down cuz I don't like the taste of alcohol and I was feeling NICE. So then we sat a bit more and left...but I liked the waiter-guy he was coo. So then we went to ANOTHER bar, a smoke-less one and I ordered some cooky drink which was very yum and I felt verra nice then. Annie won some free stuff from a drawing and we sat and talked.

We walked around a bit and it was FREEZING. We then were gonna go get some coolers (or something) and go to a park to talk but when we were in the Albertson's, they decided they were tired and we went home. Which was fine, since I was really tired and I could watch most of SNL.

I went to bed at 1'something and woke up at 3'something feeling nasty. So I had some water and went back to sleep. I woke up at 11 and tried to call Jennifer because she's sick but my mom was on the phone. And I tried to call TWICE and still TALKING. ARGH. So I just went back to sleep. *heh* Until 1.30. I was still tired and could have slept more though.

But I did call and found out Jen has bronchitis and she can't talk. So Annie (who just got there) had to talk for her. It was cute. But I wouldn't be able to go with them to Target because my sister really wanted to get going.

I was really out of it this morning, you'd think I had a whole bottle of bacardi or something. So I ate and got ready and we left. Were making good time until about 9 exits off ours. Traffic stopped. It was boring, but I got home to an emtpy apartment. I figure Lar's studying for a midterm he has tomorrow. I cleaned a little and now I'm updating. I think I'll be going to bed early tonight..I'm so out of it.

But it was a good week.
