Well, there isn't much to say about my week off since the first two days I just laid around. :P I spent Monday in and dressed, since I was expecting the cable guy to come. But he never did. Nice. Tuesday was more of the same thing but the cable men did come. I got a phone call during my soaps...so-n-so of this-and-that cable company. And I responded by saying that they were supposed to come yesterday. He said no, that he had us down for today, 4-6pm. I said I thought it was 'funny' since I heard yesterday 2-4! I supposed I shouldn't piss off the cable guy, but they SAID Monday, 2-4pm!

Anyways, he then goes: "Ah well, we get mighty busy here...." I was like whatever, so you're coming today. And they were on-time, however, the power strip out there is fucked up so it wasn't turning on and they were all: It's plugged directly in the wall. Duuuuh. And I kept telling them that it's the strip, NOT the outlet in the wall. Jesus. I went to the bedroom and ripped out my computer cords to get that strip..but they came and said they plugged the tv directly into the wall. Okay fine, they didn't really "fix" anything.

So we now have cable. The first month is free and it's the good stuff: digital. After the 30 days we will downgrade to expanded basic and it'll be all good. I can watch all the PPGs I want! :D

I stayed up late, and was tired Wednesday morning when I had to drive down to Olympia. My sister picked me up at 8-something and I had to drive her to work, in downtown...are you crazy? It wasn't that bad going there, but I got stuck getting on the freeway. I would have been better off if I'da just gone back home and then used that on-ramp.

I was back at home-home around 10am. I didn't go back to sleep since I really wanted to read more of Harry #4. That is one fine book. It was really sad at the end and stuff...but I'm looking forward to the next one since they left a lot of stuff in the air. Too bad it'll come out next summer....since this one just arrived.

Anyways, in the afternoon I picked up my mom and we went to our new dentist. There was paperwork involved so it took longer, but they took me in 30mins late! Sure, 30mins is 'not a big deal' but when you were told to show up a little earlier to fill out some papers--I was there an hour. :P~ Just got some X-rays and waited for them to develop. The guy looked me over and surprisingly said that my teeth were pretty good, they are small, but good. I would only have to get my check-up ONCE a year. Did he forget his training in dental school? It's every six months, no?

Whatever. He asked if I flossed and I said no. Hah. I do, prolly just once a week, when I think my teeth feel particularly scummy, but I don't floss regularly. He told me if I would do it just once a day I'd be all good. I'm still thinking about it. ;) My mom went thru the same thing, but she has a cavity. *heh* Got our appointments scheduled and then went home!

I had a quick dinner and went to meet Annie and Christina. We were going to meet Rebekah at Sharis since she was leaving for Ellensburg on Friday.

We met up, had some shakes but then soon left to meet with Jennifer. We went to Target and bought various stuffs then returned to Annie's home. Played make-up (on Annie) and then helped her mom with grade school things...I love putting that stuff together. I went home at 9.30 cuz I was exhausted.

Then on Thursday, I woke up early thinking I would take Annie to this place to get a leather case for her cellphone, but that didn't happen. I rushed to get ready, showered..all that good stuff, but we ended up watching USA. She left for an eye appointment around 12.30 and I went to Taco Bell.

My mom came home early and we went to Ross...bought some pants and bras. Then home, for dinner and I went back to Seattle before 7pm. I got there early, picked up Lar, went to my sister's...dropped the car off. He and I went on a drive, then we rented movies at Hollywood: Duece Bigalow: Male Gigalow and The Boiler Room.

We watched both movies. I was a bit confused about the Boiler Room then bed at 2am.

On Friday I woke up nice and late. I argued with Lar over the TV...he let me watch my soaps! :D When they were over, we went to Southcenter, to look at stuff. On the way there, he got into some shouting match with a trucker in a big rig and it was just ugly. The trucker managed to pull up alongside us at one point at yelled through MY open window...thru me, at him, of course..but I was not happy..so I rolled my window up. It was just stupid. Stupid boys.

There is this totally awesome phone at Target...but it was sold-out! ARgh. We did go to Circuit City, since Lar wants a CD changer and a car alarm system, but they just all ignored us...bastards! Just before, Lar got Techmo Bowl in the mall as well, and I also bought the cables for the Super NES.

So we headed up north, to the Lynnwood Circuit City, where they were much nicer. We also went to some gaming stores and I bought Mario 2 and 3 for $5! They were also sold-out of those phones at this Target. At night we ate at RR (after Lar refused to wait the 30-45mins, so we went driving on Aurora for about that much time, just to not find anywhere else to eat, and had to return to RR..where they already called his name, but we went to sit in the bar and got our food fast..anyways) and then went home.

As for today, we hung out with Jen and went up to Circuit City to get his stuff bought and installed, but it would take 6-7hrs. Nice. So we're doing it tomorrow...

But the trip was not all lost, Jen bought some baby stuff for her friend and we ate at another Sharis...I got us lost, we ended up in Everett instead of going south..but we fixed that. Then she and I went on The Ave for a bit and then played various Nintendos...I need to get the power cord for the Super NES! And she went home.

When we were coming home, Lar leaned on the passenger seat (which was in the up-position so I could get out from the backseat) as I was leaning to get out and he bashed it back onto my face. It didn't hurt much, thought it was a shock, but it fucked up my glasses. They don't look any different when they're worn, but they FEEL different. Slightly off, definitely more loose. He needs to get beat.

Anyways, we just made a purchase at Half.com, but they fucked up and didn't give us the option of the free magazine subscriptions! That is fucked up. Unacceptable. I printed out all the pages we had..since they didn't even GIVE us the option for the magazines, however, they were still doing the promotion. I need to call those bastards up tomorrow. They are sucking big time.

So yeah, tomorrow..gotta go back up to Lynnwood, with both cars...drop off the new one to get fixed up..drive the second one around..blahblahblah. Lotsa stuff to get done tomorrow..and it's the day before school! AHhhh.

And I'm working on speaking with the managers about getting some minor repairs done. I'm mainly thinking of getting some new paint in the kitchen and bathroom (doing the other rooms is impossible with all our shit in there) and then also getting new outlet covers for any of the many defective outlets we have. The plugs just fall out of them...prolly just very old and worn. Possibly asking about the new kitchen flooring, since the owner said they were looking into it...I bet she lied there. :P And maybe even commenting on the doorway of our bedroom....since the carpet has edged away, and if you happen to tread directly on the space, you get some nasty pokes in your feet. Yes, definitely some repairs if we are staying here this year and possibly next.

Oh, and I never got back in touch with that idiot for the entertainment center. Whatever.
