January 26, 2000: I suckSo lately I've been busy with studying for my exams this week. Last I wrote I just got out of my 355 one, which was on Monday.And so, on Monday Weese and I ate at McDonald's and talked. It was just the two of us and really nice. I realized that I haven't spent much time with him lately. But it was time well-spent. He even said he'd pick me up a scantron (for my exam today) so I wouldn't have to go get one myself. Weee! Then Lar and I watched "Happy Gilmore" and returned to studying. On Tuesday, I was falling asleep in 355 and in CMU Weese remembered the scantron. *thanks* And I left class at the break cuz I was really bored and I didn't want to listen to them talk about salmon recovery any more. For some reason, that's our project for the quarter. I don't think anyone really understands it. :P Anyhow, I went to the lab and scanned a whole bunch of pictures. Check them out. I don't have my LA pictures up yet because I need to check with everyone to see if they approve of dem. :) Then I went home and we studied MO. Yesterday wasn't all that fun. :P But this morning I was surprisingly awake! I took my 209 exam and it was alright, ya know? Then I was spacing out in 355..and then(!) I went to the flagpole to meet people, but no one showed up. Haw. So then I just went to Guthrie (School of Psychology) to wait for the answer key to this morning's exam. While there, I picked up an application. Hopefully I can apply at the end of the quarter and get in. I'm a bit anxious about my cumulative GPA for my psychology classes though. UG. I talked to Ann (whom I had math with last quarter) and that was a surprise. :) I need to contact Jennie though. The answer key was put up and Gosh, I missed about half..well, I did better than that, but not by much. I suck! I went home and I just messed around online and stuff. Lar's busy with his schoo work and I'm goofing off now. YAY! I guess that's all for now, I'm working on that LA update too..I have a feeling that it won't be as long and complicated the longer I put it off...and I need to hear feedback about the pics. Just sit tight! PS: I just uploaded my New Pics VI but it doesn't seem to show the bottom half of the pictures. I think it's just my puter or something. Then again I can see the entire picture if I just go to view it by itself. *shrug* I dunno. It should be okay but if I hear otherwise, I'll trying re-uploading them, kay? :D Last old entry was January 24, 2000. January 28, 2000: Just cuzI figured I should update before I go home for part of the weekend. It's gonna be me, Annie, and Weese going to Olympia! I'm not exactly sure what's gonna happen. I just know we'll be there pretty early, since we'll be leaving @ 1pm. I know that we ARE going to the capitol cuz Weese hasn't seen it before and he hopes that he can run into Governor Locke. *L*We'll be eating at Olive Garden tonight. I'm looking forward to it. I don't think that I've eaten out much lately..which is GOO. But I miss it sometimes. Meesh has been emailing me and it seems like she's found a nice crowd to hang out with. I should be getting her letters any time soon though. I mailed her on Wednesday. I wonder how long it'll take to get there. *hmm* Lar went to a job fair yesterday and came back with lots of cool, free stuff! We have lots of pens and pencils. He got a really nice mug..you know, those..metal silver ones with the black rubbery stuff..and they're heavy? You can get them at Eddie Bauer for like $18. *haw* I think next time I'll accompany him. *heh* What else..well, last night I talked to my sister for a LONG time. But that's cuz we haven't really talked much lately out of busy-ness. But it's coo cuz we're planning on doing something together next veek. And, when she decides to move again, she's gonna "store" some of her furniture here. We're gonna have furniture, baby! Oh yes, Jim went to an End Session with Powerman 5000 on Wednesday I wonder how that went. But eh, my soup is getting cold. I'm gonna go eat it and wait for Annie's call. I want to have some fun this weekend... February 3, 2000: EhWell, first things first, I finally completed my LA update! Yes, finally. I hope it's enough to satisfy any curiosity you may have about my trip. It was fun!A lot of things have been going on, but I'll start with this weekend. So Annie, Weese, and I went to Olympia and arrived at 2.30pm. We met Jen at Top Foods and talked during her lunch. Then we went and grabbed lunch at Meconi's (Italian subs). It was *such* good food! Then we wandered around the Capitol since Weese hasn't been there before. Of course we went to the Governor's office and the people there were nice and told us to look around. I got a picture of Weese standing behind the podium. *LOL* We looked in every corner and then also went to the Temple of Justice. But it was closed so there wasn't anything cool about it. We walked as far as we could to the Governor's mansion, which wasn't very close at all. And Wilson whimpered. *chuckle* They dropped me home and just in time to see my dad leave me as well! Mom didn't even come home from work. Haw. Was I not gonna see them at all? Anyhoo, I did some laundry and then got picked up around 7.30. Tonight we were having dinner at Olive Garden and a lot of people were gonna come. But we didn't know how many so we just said "seven." First we waited like an hour for people to come and then we finally ordered--we were all so hungry! People kept coming in waves, and I felt somewhat bad for our waitress, but eh. She ended up adding a tip in the bill anyways. :P But it was nice to see everyone all at once. I could tell it was overwhelming for Weesa and I felt bad about it but I guess it's okay now since it's over with. We ended up staying there two hours!!! It was about 11pm when we were done and I was taken home. Then on Saturday, my mom and I ran some errands. They dropped me off at Annie's and we hung out for a while. Then grabbed lunch at a different Meconi's and then fell asleep on her floor. I guess we were all pretty tired. :P But we did leave on time! Stopped off at Lakewood for the Target and that was kinna fun. We were back in Seattle at 6pm. I had to wait an hour for Lar's play session to end. Haw! Then we just hung out, I think. I'm trying to remember here. We also ran a few errands.... not sure. :P The next day was Superbowl, so he was gone. Haw! But first he had a meeting for his group so he did that. I went with my sister to go shopping and that was nice. I had talked to her on Thursday and we walked a LONG time. I realized that I hadn't talked to her for a while. So it was nice to catch up. We didn't do much but I was glad to be out of the apartment. Lar had fun at the football party, but he came back pretty late. See, we were talking about going to see Jason perform cuz he's going to OZ for three months! Lar had said that he'd prolly leave at halftime, but he didn't! He came home around 7.30 and rushed off to the show. I, on the other hand, was feeling headachey and just achey in general so I stayed home and watched TV. On Monday my 209 teacher gave us the break-down of the scores on the first midterm. Can I tell you I got an F? That made me precious. But then in 355, I got my midterm back and I did at the mean, so that made me happy. I didn't feel like being around people so I just went home instead of waiting for Annie and/or Jim to show up at the flagpole. Lar was pretty sick this week so I had to take care of him. :P He wanted me to turn in his engineering application on Tuesday and that pissed me off cuz I had to walk real far to get there! Annoying! But at least I caught the bus back home or else I would have been even more pissed. *grrrrrr* Oh yes! I got Meesh mail over the weekend. She got my mail just the other day. I guess it takes about a week, so now I know. :) I also mailed off a lotta bills and another letter. Wee! I'm so good now. I had lunch with Annie on Wednesday and we caught up since I hadn't talked to her since Saturday (wow that's long). Then I went and did some extra credit work for CMU class. (I ran into Jim. Wee!) I had to staple together all these surveys. Gross! But it wasn't that bad since the other girl doing it was the girl I met at freshman orientation. Small world! It took over an hour and my nail polish was pretty worn down and I had ink on my hands, but no paper cuts! So I walked with the girl and we ended up on north end, so we both went in and got business applications. Then I went home and Lar didn't come back until late!! I was pissed! But he was at some geeky college bowl meeting. *chuckle* Today wasn't anything much, but long. We finished an interesting film in 209 and the teacher blah-blah'ed in 355. I rushed to CMU cuz of the exam and when I got there, my seat was gone! Weese and Sandy didn't save me my seat! *GRRRRRRR!* But I just sat on the other side of the room. *shrug* That kinna sucked though. *pah* The exam wasn't very hard, I think. I BS'ed a lot but EH. I got out early so I went to the HUB and bought some things and then waited for my counseling appointment @ 1.30. I talked to the nice lady and she made me feel good about myself again. I have a plan! BWUAHAHAHAHA. I stopped off at the puter lab cuz I had to use Photoshop and then went home. Lar followed a few minutes later and we just laid around watching my shows (caught the end of "Passions," Daria, TRL, Webriot, and Simpsons). Okay yes that was a lot fo TV. *haw* Lar's hats did come and with a free watch! WOO HOO! So that's all from here.
