August 1, 1999: 6:55am and i'm feeling upsetwell, larry left a little while ago. yes, he's working overtime outside of his usual hours. which is good, because many times work has asked him to work til the project was finished (one wasn't completed until 4am), or come back after he just arrived at home. but he thinks it's fine that he's working cuz his boss does try to not have him work additional hours and such. *shrugs*but that's not why i'm upset. i know he'll be home in approximately 3hours....though he told me to call his cell phone at 10.45 if he's not home. *shrugs again* i don't think i'll write about why i'm really upset in here cuz this is just too open...um....maybe i'm defeating the reason of an online journal...but it is after all, MY journal, so i shouldn't feel bad about not telling anything. besides, if you're worried about how unhealthy it is to bottle feelings up...i do have a paper journal.. which i haven't had the time to write in for a couple weeks now. *grrrrrr* butttttt. i guess i should talk about something since i don't want to have a short entry... so...jennifer told me there was a possibility of her coming up here after work friday late-night around 2am. but i figured..KNEW..she would be coming up for SURE. *heh* anyways, the same thing i'm upset about now, was upsetting me then...and i talked it out on larry, who was really helpful. but that effort made me tired...so i couldn't help but to fall asleep. thankfully, he kept an ear open for jen and she DID come! those two talked in the big room for a long time..i was in and out of consciousness..overall, too tired to go join them, unless they wanted me to sleep on their feet. :P the next morning we hung around and didn't leave the house for a while. when we did, we went to fremont. and took pictures of the troll under the bridge. i'm sure there's a picture of it online..however, we did get some pics and they WILL be scanned. i didn't like the graffiti on it though...but i did think it was nice that other people didn't interfere with our photo-shoot and let us take our pictures and then took their turn. :) so then we walked down there and went into their shops. at first, it was slow and the stores were lame...but then it started rolling. we went into a store...something junk...which was really cool. it was old stuff, but not nasty old stuff from goodwill. jen bought some fuzzy orange-tan-brown slippers..we haven't decided if they're the indoor type or outdoor type. they were a good price too! :) but the girl at the register was flaky about it, she was talking too fast. i caught snipets of how they could only accept your debit card if it was over $10 (the shoes were $5) and how..you get a $2 charge or something...anyways, she rung us up with the debit card but jen didn't get charged..so i was like: what was up with that? we were HUNGRY. so we went into 'the longshoreman's daughter...cafe?' something like that. :P and well, they only serve breakfast during the WEEKENDS. ummmmmkay, so we sat looking at our menus, deciding if we really wanted to be here..and got our water (which we were DYING for), but there was NO ice in it and it wasn't cold. *gross* so i said we were LEAVING. went across the street where the waiter at the last place suggested..and it turned out MUCH betta. we ended up sitting in the bar cuz they were so busy. however, larry ended up insulting our waitRESS cuz he went, "thankya, sir." well, he only saw an ARM handing him a glass of water..soooo. i dunno what to say about that. :P but the food was DeLiCiOuS! i got 'white lightning pizza'.. and it was gooo, and the others were happy with their food orders and we agreed to come back here. :) while waiting for our food, jen told me she was 'glad that she came'...i said i was too. :D we went to a tattoo parlour, but didn't anything done. *snaps fingers* ;-) and went into a few more stores and then back to the car cuz we were gonna go ride the FERRY! it was all toooooo bad....terrrrrible timing though. a game was just finished in safeco field...so there was traffic.. HORRIBLE traffic, they wouldn't let you turn right! so we drove all over the place without getting anywhere, heating up jen's car..and wasting over an hour. :P~ well, we finally parked somewhere and walked a looooong time to get to the terminal. where, good news: the ferry was right THERE. but bad news: they jacked the fare up! last time we went it was $1.25, but now it was $3-something. pah! but luckily lar had a check on him, we only had a crumpled up wad of money totalling $4-something. and we ran to the ferry. and set off! weeeeeeee. but this time, instead of standing at front of the ferry a la 'king of the world'..we went on the upperdeck and just LAID down. all that blue sky...and a seagull who was messing with us. *LOL* but it was really nice and relaxing and people were like..smiling at us cuz we were laying down. then we got to the island and went to the same ice cream place we did the last time we were there...and it was good..but i was soooo thirsty! walked back and we missed the ferry by FIVE fricking minutes! so we laid down on the floor again. *LOL* and another one came soon enough. this one was another one called the 'tacoma'..the last one was 'walla walla'..so the layout was all different and there wasn't a place for us to lay down. *whaie* so..we stood for a while, then jen and i went to benches..and later went inside cuz it was getting chilly and laughed at the antics of "papa murphy" and "mama luv." so we walked all the way BACK to the car and it was still there and no ticket! jen was worried about that possiblity the whole time we were gone. it was about 8pm..we'd done a lot today but we weren't through. we had to go see freaking 'star wars' again..but time in the cinerama..which was remodeled and looking reeeeeal nice. but we went home first, to cool off cuz it was sooo hot. and then left to the theatre. i had assured jen there would be lots of parking..cuz at this time the meters are off, etc. but we GET there and it's SEAFAIR. GREAT! so there was NO parking..and 'event parking' was like $20 for the DAY. *snork* so we parked in a lot next to the theatre...which it turned out, did NOT validate parking. *mo snork* so we left lar in line and drove around..we eventually parked at pacific place. *haw* and raaaaan all the way back. the theatre was NICE. we sat in the balcony and everything was cooo. :) larry and i snorked the whole time during the movie and pointed out flaws and other things we now were aware of...then we went home. dropped HIM off cuz he had to work today..and we went to dick's drive-in for foo cuz we had our only real meal at that place in fremont. jen and i talka and then went to bed. and i guess i woke up this morning, early, cuz lar was making his noise. *L* i had a burning desire to check my email but when i did, it made me upset.... so there you go...you're at the top of this update. it is now 7.27am and i'm going back to bed. i had a good time out yesterday. :) btw...once i figure out this OneList thing...i'll let you know. *LOL* latest old entry is july 30, 1999. August 4, 1999hey all..i actually had an update for the 1st, but my puter booted before i saved it, so i lost it and was too precious over it to rewrite everything. wouldn't you do the same thing? ;-)i've been pretty good. yesterday was all about doing homework! i had to write up my profile for murder and my shakespeare paper..both due today! and i'm proud to say that i did BOTH of them. for a while i was thinking about skipping the shakespeare paper because i choose my own grade at the end of the quarta....but then i had the time, so i did it. :) and again larry edited very little of it, and said my writing has gotten better. YAY! but my henry paper is still better. *heh* classes today were good too! i talked to the bearded guy in shakespeare. *L* and we ended up leaving at the break at the same time, so we talked a little. i was falling asleep again! ack! then i went to the puter lab and messed around til murder. when i got there, i talked to the guy i worked with on monday and another girl..and in class we all sat together along with the other person i worked with on monday...so it was coo...i actually can TALK to people. *L* afta class i went on my way but the guy walked with me cuz we have the same path and talka mo..which was coo. but i was sooooo glad to be home! where it's cool! it's too damn hot here! which is like, really weird because yesterday there was a huuuuuuge thunder/lightning storm. i had to turn off my puter cuz i was afraid it would die on me. :P but then i turned it on cuz i had SO much work to do and just saved everytime i saw the lightning. *L* in fact, in today's paper, they said a man was struck by lightning cuz he was under a tree or something. WOWIE! that is soooooo crazy! but he's okay. *whew* going home this weekend, though which days is questionable. cuz my sister wants to hang out with her friend lars before he goes to NY for three freaking years! and i wanna go home any of the days when jennifer doesn't work much..so we can hang out and stuffs. i think i'll be going home next weekend as well..just for a little bit..to see my friend holly. i was friends with her the latter half of high school. and i haven't seen her for 2yrs now..but we had started talking on icq and emailing and gotten to know each other on a different level from what we were at during high school... so it's really cool. :) it's my last month at this place. i really want to get a place lined up SOON. cuz darryl showed this place to someone on monday. and it was weird. i was like showing that guy around and stuffs...gee, someone wants to get rid of us. *shrugs* but yeah..i really want a place. and it's good now that larry has a cellphone cuz then we can just call a place as we're standing right outside. betty did that and found her apartment the first day she went looking, i think she said. so yeah. i haven't looked further into this OneList place...but if you wanna join..that's super! *heh* i have more to say but it's time for pokemon! will write more tomorra!!!!!!! August 6, 1999okay well..i'm typing this at like, 1am here..i'll prolly add to it more when i either wake up..or when i return from class. :)so on thursday, i woke up at 11am..and was making pancakes when larry came home. he wasn't feeling too good so that's why he left work. so we hung out a while and then went to get box o' food ata la vaca..and we were stuffed...then more hanging out.. around 6pm i got dressed. i decided to wear that outfit i bought last weekend...this black skirt with blue flower stuffs and a black shirt with that mock type cover stuffs..okay i didn't describe that well. :P betty came around and drove me down the street! *L* well, we first had to park the car somewhere and then go eat and then go to the movie! so we parked and walked far..for me..in these clunky black shoes...and we ated..but i was still full from mexican food a few hours before..ugggg...so much food. i bought cream puffs though. weeeeee. so then we walked back to the car..and one of the 'beer' homeless guys went, "well.......HI." and i'm like, "hi!" and kept walking. my sister asked why i talked to him and i said he said hi, so i said it back, no big deal. *shrugs* we get to the theatre, and it's like the size of a large house.. and there was a large woman breathing rather hard behind us... ahem. we went to see "an ideal husband"..which is by oscar wilde.. and i wouldn't have known that if betty and larry did not say so. so i wonder why the promotional stuffs didn't say that?¿ the movie was cute. i don't remember how long it was...so then betty was taking me home. and as we were driving past the wherehouse..i was thinking: what if larry is in there renting our movies? and you know what? he was there..he was crossing the street in front of us! *LMAO* we waved at him..and he waved and kept walking..but then he stopped and we were like: get in the car! *L* so betty drove us both home..and there we had our puffs and watched our movies: cruel intentions and friday...i'm actually typing this update during friday cuz i wasn't too into it..and i wanted to get an update going before i went home for the whole weekend. so cruel intentions was pretty good. what i saw of friday was okay too...but it just wasn't my bag. *L* and i'm going home tomorrow after betty gets off work. i'm not sure what's to become of my friday night. but on saturday i'm hanging out with jen..which should be fun. i was thinking of wearing what i wore today..then..but i guess not. *L* but we'll see..i am going home to do laundry too. ;-) i guess i'm staying through til sunday as well..and coming up in the morning, that's fine here. i hope to get some reading done because the quarter is almost over..but you know how that goes. *haw* kay well..it's 1am now..i'm off to bed! August 9, 1999: lotsa stuffwell, first off, friday. larry stayed home but did NOT drive me to class or even pick me up. *L* it's okay though. i walked with scott after class til he went to the library..and i was asked by these people to show them where the university bookstore was. and i showed them..they were a family from michigan..who came out here just cuz....but they were nice people and i helped them. so.then larry and i went grocery shopPING at QFC cuz i would be leaving him this whole weekend. we got in around 4pm..which was the time betty took off work..so i had to get everything together to go home! it took two hours to get there. *grrrrrr* i went to target with betty and then i talked and settled a few things which have been going on. saturday i laid around until the oldest of the 3 girs (i used to babsit) called..and i went over there..we talked and then went to the stores to look around. i bought the middle one the new blinke 182 cd, which she liked..and i also bought spinach dip. *LOL* hung out some more and i left early so i could rest a little before meeting jen at 7.30. met up with her at her work and she showed me the employee's lounge..ooooooh. and then we went to target and then the mall..where i bought a pikachu shirt and a pokemon poster. the girl at the register was someone i had driver's ed with and some high school...so that was weird. especially when she asked me if i was buying all that for a birthday party. *LOL* we also went to the gap where jen picked up a sweater she liked. and the guy working there was very talkative and told me how he graduated in 97 also..but from river ridge..and that he went to wsu to play baseball but got fat so he went home. *L* after that, i saw jen and went to her. :P and at claire's we bought a pair of those plastic bracelet weave things cuz they were on sale..but it took us a couple tries. *Heh* as we were leaving the mall..this black guy walks up to me and is having trouble speaking...i thought he wanted change..but no, he wanted better..he wanted a ride home...which was close to the mall...i was so jaded..calm..or whatever..that i asked jen what she thought...and she said it was my car..so i told them to "let's go." s'weird. i have never done that before. but they were harmless and he really did live close enough to the mall..so that was fine. just weird that i did something so uncharacteristic. :P jen and i went to ramblin' jacks next and had FOOD! but i wasn't hungry enough to have a whole pizza..so i took some home. the waiter was the same guy as before, but this time he gave me my refills, damnit. *L* jen ordered mashed potatoes and a brownie sundae. *LOL* it was about 10pm..which was when anne marie said they would be back from 'blair witch'..so we went there and hung out a little. not too late cuz i had a long day and stuff like that. so i was home by 11.30pm. on sunday i woke up in time to see the rents go..and then betty told me she had plans with her friends later today..which meant that we would not go home until latER. so i was like..annoyed cuz she didn't tell me sooner, otherwise i would have gotten up earlier to go with my parents. so i called larry to let him know and he said he would come get me cuz we had to look at apartments. when he got here, i showed him around briefly and we were on our way. had lunch at planet burrito...wow, their burritos are GOOD! and then we went home where we watched 'in the company of men'..which was okay..i had heard about it a long time ago, so i guess i just wasn't too into it. it's now monday and i decided to skip shakespeare in the morning. darryl talked to me....oh YEAH! larry and i are staying at this apartment cuz it's the best thing we've seen...everything that is out there sucks, is too expensive, and small..so we're staying here. which is a great relief because i was stressing so badly about moving and packing and different locations and all. :) so anyways, i skipped class, but i left a little early so i could go scanning. i'm gonna redo my page a little. yeah, i know you guys have heard it before..but i spent a good while this afternoon messing with some things. weeeeeeee. but scanning took longer than i thought..so i was afraid i would be late to class, but i wasn't..i had 5 minutes! but still geez! i was sooo hot and the air wasn't moving in that room..i was dying! after class, i walked with scott and ji-hee (i can't ever remember how to spell her name)..until she went another way. then as scott and i came to where we usually part..he asked if i wanted to go for ice cream and i said, "sure!" which was weird..cuz no classmate asks me to do stuff with them aside from studying. *L* and plus, what he said..was like the advice larry gives me about making friends...just ask them for coffee, lunch, ice cream, etc..and here someone was asking ME to do that. so we wented and it was nice. he paid which was more surprising than the invite..and we just talka for about an hour. :) when i got back..i talka nan for a few and it was goo cuz we were kinna weird about this thing that happened last week..but we're over it and it was nice talking to her again. :))))))) and ellen sent me this big-ass mail that i haven't even finished reading yet. OY! but fankeeeeeeeee. :DDDDDD so i guess that's it! i'm gonna finish some emails and then i'm off! August 12, 1999: i am jeama nglac, iamcamry of tylenol*tehe*well..it's been a good week at school this time around. ¡quel surprise! :) so let's see: yesterday was wednesday. i reluctantly went to shakespeare. that class is driving me MaD! and i know, that much of it has to do with the fact that i haven't read the last 2.5 plays for the class. *errrrrrr* ah well! but i'm highly annoyed that the teacher did NOT email me back and answer my Q regarding our final paper! supposedly it's due next wednesday which is our last day of class and he still has NOT said a thing about it? maybe he's playing games with me or something. but i plan on emailing him again, so he HAS to respondez cuz it's o'er da veekend and all that! :P~ at the break i did some emailing...on a MAC...:P but i got this forward from my sister about star varz names. i sent it out to a few peoples..and i'm surprised that they responded back with their new names...call me very proud! *beams* the murder was a bunch of overheads. *ack* and i talked to ji-hee (jee-hi?) again cuz i asked her where she lived, since scott and i saw her walking on monday along the same way as i do..kinna. so i guess we agreed that we could walk most of the way home together which is nice. :) she's on her way to the business schoo *snork* but i offered to let her use my accounting books and stuffs. scott and i walked/talked the usual way after class. and then i went home and ..... hmmmm .... i don't remember what i did. *L* oh! betty emailed and asked if i wanted to hang around U-Village for a while cuz she was gonna be there killing time before she went to see 'blair vitch' with her friends. but at the last mo, she cancelled on me....but s'okay..cuz lar just came home from verk and i hate just leaving right when he arrives. *nod* it's freaking cold up here! anyways..i just got a call from jen-fer! she's coming up today with her friend. they're going to see 'star varz' at the cinerama..and NO, i'm not going this time. *LOL* it'll be coo seeing her again, i have no clue when i'll be going home next time or when she'll be staying up here! gotta clean, gotta clean!!!!!!!!! but that's about all from this end. where did the time go? sheesh, tis already 11am? i have a lot to do..work on mah page, do emails... reading for finals!!!, watch days...*hehe* ps: i'm soooo proud of the fact that i've finally used up most/all of the space i have on this angelfire page! now i get to move onto my space! weeeeeeeee. August 13, 1999: ah wellllllll.okay so i couldn't get back to sleep after waking up at 7am. thanks to larry...who just plopped down on the bed to say he was leaving. :P but it was actually good for me because when i went to class i was alert. that is, until class started. *haw*class was boring...i was nodding off towards the end. ji-hee came late so she needed to copy scott's and my notes. and we went to the chem library to do it. *snork* but luckily i didn't see any of my former supervisors...then again, i didn't see any one at the front desk?¿ she went off to wait for her bf to pick her up and scott and i walked little longer because he had to go to the SWS (right now i can't think of the full name, but i'm pretty sure this is the abbreviation of it. *LOL*) library for some final project he was working on. as an afterthought (one? two words?) i should have tagged along, i need to ask someone working in that library a question. *oops* home, and just relaxing, this week went by really fast. i need to email my shakespeare teacher about the final paper, which is the 18th..and then scott thankfully told me our murder final was the 18th as well..i had some ridiculous notion that the final was on the 21st (which is a saturday). *dooiiiiiiiii* where has my head been these past few weeks? i'm redoing some of my page, here. it's mainly changing the heading on each page to have three periods before and after it...i just like that look, okay? but, yesterday i was soooo good because i taught myself tables! and with this new-found knowledge i redid my old entries page. *weeeeeeee* i'm also working on a new cover page, however, i still like the old one..so i'll stick it somewhere else. :) dunno what's up for tonight but tomorrow night is date night! whoopeee. i'll let you know what happens as soon as i know myself. *heh* i guess that's all from here, time for some emailing!!!!! <<<< ^ >>>> |
