You think the day is over,
as you watch the sun go down.
But the night is just beginning,
so take away that frown.
Night is when the angels speak,
you must listen to what they say.
For angels have the answers you seek,
so listen, without delay.
You think your life is over,
it's only just begun,
God is in the clover,
to show you how it's done.
You walk along and hold his hand,
and go through the pearly gates.
You hear His band, rejoice the land,
as He, sits and waits.
The angels all came closer,
it's time to say good-night.
For now the day is over,
and they're gone, and out of sight!
