All of our dogs are dual registered with the United Kennel Club (UKC) and the American Kennel Club (AKC)     A Bit About Crystal Cavern American Eskimo Dogs    Crystal Cavern Eskies was the beginning of a Dream in 1987.  It unfolded as our love of an incredible breed of dog grew.  Our beloved Eskies are a special part of our lives and family.  We can’t even imagine what our life would be like without them. They are excellent performers in Conformation, Agility and Obedience. (Sometimes we aren’t sure who is training who) We have experienced so many wonderful memories and have made so many friends throughout the years.  How fast the time has gone by. We strive to breed for temperament, health and personalities.  Eskies are not for everyone.  They are extremely intelligent but strong willed.  They need socializing, training, a firm hand and most of all, unconditional love from the beginning. Our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC). They have Purple Ribbon Recognition (PR) with UKC.  This means they have at least six generations on file with UKC.  They were not recognized by AKC until 1995.  All our breeding stock is tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy "PRA" by Cerf  eye exam and Optigen genetic blood tests.  All of our puppies and older dogs, when available, are sold with firm contracts for pet or show and we offer a health guarantee.   We breed mostly Standard size American Eskimos and have Toy sizes on occassion.
