Hello, my name is Eddie Adams as the Senior Pastor of Victory Tabernacle and on behalf of my wife Sonya, my Staff, our Covenant Partners and the entire Victory Family, I would like to personally welcome you to our website.

We are a church that is dedicated to preaching Gospel of Jesus Christ . Please take the time to view our website it is definitely a ministry on-line reaching the masses through this vehicle called the Internet. Our church is a multi-culture mixture of believers from different ethnic backgrounds which makes us a diverse and a more unified group of believers coming together to worship the "Almighty God" in Spirit and in Truth.

The devotional theme for the month of May is:  Journey to the Battlefield

This month our spiritual expedition will take us on a journey to the spiritual enemy battlefield and learn how to confron the enemy. We will learn to use our spiritual weapons. We will discover how to be victorious in the face of the temptations and pressures of life. We will learn strategies for casting down vain imaginations, controlling the mind, sinning the victory. Most importatnt -- we will learn to never give up!

Are you ready ? God's army is moving out for the battlefield. Forward march!

"The Real War"

Scripture Reading: Romans 8:35-39
Key Verse: Galatians 5:17

"The flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish."

Every believer in Jesus Christ is involved in a fierce spiritual struggle. Unlike soldiers in wars that begin and end, we face an incessant foe in the devil who never relaxes his eveil desires. Thus, we can never let down our guard against Satan's weapons of doubt and deception. He cannot affect our eternal destiny, for that has been secured by Christ's death and resurrection; but he certainly can disrupt our present state of affairs with his rebellious scheming.

Be alert. Be vigilant. Be disciplined. You are in a fight of faith, a real war with casualties of great proportions. Wake up each morning with your game face on, and engage the enemy with confident faith.

Almighty God, I realize I am in an ongoing fight of faith. Help me be alert, vigilant, and disciplined -- ready to engage the enemy with confident faith.

A.Admit you have sinned."If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us" (1 John 1:8)

B.Believe in the Savior."For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)

C.Confess and forsake your sin."If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9)
