Short Notes on Rules & Protocols
NO PERSON IS REQUIRED TO GIVE OUT ANY REAL TIME (RT) INFORMATION TO ANY ASKING, NOR CAN THEY BE FORCED TO
GIVE THIS INFORMATION - BE FREE OR SLAVE!
ANY PERSON INSISTING THAT RT INFORMATION IS TO BE GIVEN TO THEM, ARE TO BE REPORTED TO THE COUNCIL OF CAPTAINS AND THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM GOREAN SHORES.
At all times the Rules of Gorean Shores will apply unless
otherwise stated.
1. At no time are any free permitted to enter the kennels the exceptions are Council Members or a Free who has the express consent from Council to enter.
2. If any Free other than those authorised by Council enter the slave kennels, slaves are permitted to politely ask the Free to exit the kennels. A slave may also politely on asking the Free to leave she can serve that Free in either the Tavern or the Piazza. 3. If any problem occurs, slaves are also advised to C&P the incident and mail to Council, and may exit the kennels and go to a private room, especially if training is in progress.
All Free are advised to have an understanding of both Protocols and
Advice for Free as well as an understanding of the
Rules for
kajirae.
It is suggested that all Free and kajirae read any
latest
decisions, as these may reflect an alteration to Policies and Rules.
Tavern & general site rules
1. GS slaves need not beg entry;
2. Other personally owned and visiting slaves must beg entry;
3. All Patrons, except Council members and Captain Emeritus
are expected to pay for the services of a Gorean Shores slave and any item
on the Gorean Shores menu;
4. Free should not greet other Free until that person has
entered or posted a greeting;
5. Free should not greet slaves until they have entered and
greeted Free;
6. Slave classes are compulsory for Gorean Shores slaves that are in Gorean Shores
and it is suggested that 20 ehns prior to class commencing slaves owned by Gorean Shores only offer harta serves;
7. Slaves will not depart classes to serve until classes are finished;
8. Observer collars are to allow newcomers to observe without harassment of any kind;
9. Observer slaves can serve to their ability in any room of Gorean Shores;
10. From 4th August 2009 All Free Women will be allowed in the tavern. Decision as follows:
"The Council has decided to allow FW back into the tavern. They should not expect any behavior that may offend them to be curtailed in any way. Please note if this change becomes a problem the Council can simply revert back keeping them out again. We'll see how it goes."
11. All GS slaves should put Gorean Shores before any other site.
Slave
Kennels
Piazza
1. No kill / no capture zone
2. There is no need to beg entry to the Piazza;
3. All slaves shall wear casmiks upon entry.
4. Lapping is allowed with the understanding that it is LAPPING, and NOT a sitting screw or other open scening.
5. Slaves may spread their legs. Since they are required to wear camisks or whatever other slave clothing, so even if they did spread their legs, their crotch should still be covered. So
descriptions should be limited to just open legs and NOT details of anything showing.
Market Bazaar
1. No kill zone. Capture zone for uncollared slaves. (see capture rules below)
2. Slaves don't need to beg entry or to leave
3. Slave greetings: Slaves would NOT * call out * greetings from the other side of a real market, so they do NOT have to greet EVERY Free that enters. They only need to greet at the appropriate time as called for by the role playing be carried out in the room.
Training Yard
1. Free Women are permitted to enter the training yard.
2. slaves need not beg entry to the yard
Bath House
2. slaves need not beg entry to the bath house.
3. White silk slaves of Gorean Shores are not permitted in the Bath House.Capture Rules in GS
1. Any attempted capture must be post for post; No speed posting allowed. Please state intent to capture upon sighting the captee.
2. In the event of an attempted capture, the free person must post an entry, followed by a declaration of intent, followed by a minimum of three posts in the capture attempt. As stated before, they must be made post for post with the slave.
3. Any free neck slave entering the room must post a minimum of five posts; one entry, three role play posts and a final exit post to allow any who might wish to hunt her have their chance.
4. During the time of said capture attempt, the minimum one minute between requests to leave by slaves will NOT be in effect. But ONLY at this time
5. C&Ps are to be kept by the participants to allow for adjudication by the council if needed. Any slave that uses the urts or an emergency rti too many times to escape capture can be collared by any Captain on sight.
6. Limited protection may be provided by a Current GS Captain to a free neck, but only if he is there the entire time. If not, well, "out of sight, out of mind", she is free to be hunted.
7. In the event that two men have their eyes on the capture of a slave, there are two choices. First, one can back out and concede to the other, or second, the girl is bound and a "kajira canjellne" is declared. The two men fight an adjudicated three to five post, standard GS fight rules, battle with the winner getting possession of the slave.
