“Hey Sophie, how are you?” Ally asked as Sophie handed Ally a small package and three letters.
“I’m doing pretty good. I never thought that I would have ever seen so many people suffering from sleep deprivation though.” Sophie sat on a bunk next to Matt.
“No kidding,” Matt said.
“Anyway, what were you guys talking about?” Sophie asked as she leaned her head against Matt’s shoulder.
“Well, actually, we were just talking about doing something special for the extras before they leave.” Nick said. “The only probably is, Matt’s suggestion is going karaokeeing.”
“That would be so much fun.” Sophie agreed.
“Try telling Nick and Ally that.” Matt smiled.
Sophie looked at Nick, who was sitting on the same bunk as Ally, with a quizzical expression on her face. “Ally may have an excuse for not wanting to go, but what about you? Are you kidding me? You get up and sing in front of millions of screaming fans all the time.”
“I just don’t really want to go…” Nick said.
Sophie sighed. “What about you?” she asked looking over at Ally.
“I guess I’ll go,” Ally said. “I’m just not getting up on stage because I can’t carry a tune to save my life.”
“Ally, I love you.” Matt smiled. Over the last few weeks, Matt and Ally’s small fight had faded away into nothingness and left them in the same spot where they had began.
“C’mon Carter, if I’m going, you’re going.” Ally poked Nick’s sides.
Nick glared at Ally. “I’ll only go if you promise me that I’m not going on that stage alone.”
“Okay, it’s a deal.” Ally said, glaring back at Nick. “Man, you’re such a chicken.”
“You’d better take that back,” Nick grinned.
“Not on your life.” Ally teased. A cell phone call interrupted what could have been a “war” between Nick and Ally. “I got it,” Ally called. “Hello?”
“Hey Ally. I need all the cast in the main hall now.” Mike ordered. “It’s really important.”
“Yeah, I’ll see you in five?” Ally questioned. She pressed the OFF button on the cell phone. “Mike wants us all in the main hallway in five minutes…he says it’s important.”
“He probably realized that he broke a camera and he needs us to shoot the scene all over again,” Matt whined.
Five minutes later, the entire cast was waiting around in the main hall for Mike’s “big announcement.”
“Okay everyone,” Mike began. “I wanted to thank you all for your hard work. Everyone is giving this movie their all and I think that it’s going to be amazing and kick some ass in the box office.”
“Yeah,” Cassandra laughed. “Just because Nick Carter is in it.” The cast laughed as Nick’s face turned 100 shades of red and Rachel shot Cassandra a mean glance.
Once Mike had gotten everyone under control, he started again. “Seventeen has asked me if I could get everyone to go in and do a huge interview and photo shoot for their June magazine.” Separate conversation erupted between the cast before it was decided that this was a good choice. “Okay,” Mike said. “I’ll call them back with the answer. The whole thing is this Friday at 2.”
“Hmm, tomorrow…thanks for the warning Mike,” Matt laughed.
After Mike had left, Matt, Nick, Ally, and Sophie began planning for tomorrow.
“What if we take all the extras to the interview in separate cars and then just drive straight to the karaokee place,” Nick suggested.
“That would work…except for that fact that there are about 40 extras and we only have 3 cars.” Ally laughed. “But it was a good try Carter. Keep up the good work.”
Nick smiled sarcastically at Ally.
“What if we just blindfold everyone after the interview and took them to the karaokee place on a bus or something,” Sophie proposed. The other three agreed. “All right,” Sophie continued, “then it’s settled.”
