After about another fifteen minutes, I had a whole routine. I was even able to throw in a backhandspring step out. Just as I was going to practice it again, Rebecca came in.
"Need something?" I asked politely.
" Yeah dancing room."
"Hey there is plenty room for two."
"Yeah but I'm doing actual dancing. You'll be a distraction."
" Oh come on. The Backstreet dances are easy. I've memorized them by just watching."
" I'm sure of it, now will you PLEASE leave already?" "Whatever. I was here first." Becky plugged in her stereo.
"How about a little competition. you say you know the dances. Do them all with me. Remember there is only a five minute break between two sections"
" Fine, and If I can do them then you leave me a one for the rest of the tour. That goes for Nick also."
"Fine!"
Howie had over heard our competition and ran to get the others to watch. He went up to everyone's rooms. Rebecca and I had started dancing to Larger Than Life. When we finished that song she looked over to me.
"That's the easiest dance. Try this one. So the music came on and we started dancing.
" I can't believe they're doing the whole show." Lena said.
"She's going to over work herself. I should stop this." Nick started walking in.
"Nick, remember our talk." Brian reminded him.
" Dude Stacey is kick her butt." A.J. laughed.
"How does she know all of these dancing?" Kevin asked. " By watching." Nick said proudly with a smile on his face. We got to Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely then stopped.
"Looks like we have an audience." She said.
" Good. Now we have partners."
"Nick is mine in the show, its only right that he's mine now."
" Fine. Nick, Howie come here please." I said. Rebecca pulled out two stools over and we pushed them down. She hit play and I went to Howie. We started dancing around them and walked away for their 'solo' part then within thirty seconds we walked back up to them.
" Okay, thank you. Now leave. We have four more songs." She announced. Thats the Way I Like it came on next and we began dancing again.
" Damn they're making tired watching them." Kelly said. We've Got It Going On came on and just then my back started getting really tight. I tried not to make my moves as sharp but when it came to this kicking part I couldn't take it and fell.
'"Stace!" Nick started coming towards me but ignoring the pain I stood up and continued to dance. When the song ended Rebecca started laughing.
" Who is the real dancer now?" She smirked.
" Me." Was all I said.
" How do you figure?"
" I have the heart for it."
" Yeah well you'll never be a great dancer ever again. You probably never were."
" If only you were half of what she is. Then MAYBE, you could consider yourself a good dancer. She's right, without a heart you're nothing." Brian said getting into her face.
" Oh okay Brian." She picked up her things and left "Thank you Bri." I said walking up to him. Just then Nick picked me up and swung me around.
" You were awesome baby! Even after you fell, you picked yourself up and kept dancing."
" Yeah well you fall over your feet all the time Nick." I laughed.
" HEY!"
"She's got you there Nick." Nick said walking by. Everyone went up to their rooms and left Nick and I alone.
" I want to dance for you. You have a few?" I asked.
" Of course."
" K, you want the new one I made up today to or surprise?"
" Both, and new one-first."
" You got it." I kissed him then put in Mandy's song. After it was over he was clapping.
" Beautiful. You made that up today?!"
"Well, kinda. I listened to the song many times and always wanted to dance to it. All right now for the surprise." I took out Mandy and put in Journey. I stood in my pose then the music started. " Lying beside you, here in the dark, feeling your heart beat with mine. Softly you whisper, you're so sincere..." The song went on.
After it was over Nick came up to me and gave me the biggest hug. " You remembered it?!"
" Of course silly. And when we get home remind me of this day and I have to show you something else."
" Okay?" He was confused.
" Come on lets go eat before the concert." He put his arms around me and we left
