Katie went out looking for a job and Nick went about with his traveling an putting on shows. Katie chose to stay home and continue with the job she had found only one week after searching. She missed Nick terribly, but was very occupied with her clients and nights out with her friends. Nick was set to be home the next next day and the following week they were once again going to look for the perfect house. Katie was interrupted bythe ring of the phone She ran downstairs and picked it up.
"Hello?" she said happily.
"Hey baby." It wa NIck He couldn't see the excitement in Katie but knew she obviosuly wanted to tell him something.
"Hey, what are you doing?" she asked. She decidd to tell him when he got home. It was too big of a deal for the phone.
"On my way back to see you." he replied. "What are you so happy about?
"Seeing you" she replied happily. "I have something to tell you, but it's gonna have to wait until you get home."
"Oh, I love surprises." he smoothly said making her heart melt for the millionth time.
The conversation went on for another 2 hours. Nick, talking about how th etour had gone and the crazy stuff that usually happened when they got together. Katie told him how her job was going, the clients, and a house she had seen driving around that they definately had to check out. Katie went to bed that night feeling nervous, but happy.
