"Katie, we've run some tests for possible diseases and our pleased to find that no diseases were contracted."
Katie couldn't stop herself as tears raced down her face. Nick went over to her and hugged her. What could he say? He jsut offered her his love and support.
As she started to calm down, the doctor asked, "Would you like me to set an appointment for a counselor?
Katie just shook her head. "Why were they asking her this? Why couldn't this all be a bad dream? Why did this have to real? Hadn't she gone throuhg enough pain for a lifetime?" She couldn't get out any words.
"I'll give you time." the doctor said somberly. He hated to see this happen. Beautiful young women go through hell because of heartless basteards. He turned and walked down the hallway to see his next patient leaving two lives alone who loved each other so much.
