" You all look wonderful together." The photographer replied as he went to go photograph the best men. Kevin, Howie, Brian and nick smiled at the camera with dazzling arrogance. " So how does it feel to be Mr. and Mrs. Alexander James McLean?" Kevin said taking AJ in a big hug.
Christina smiled and hugged Kevin. "You look wonderful!" he whispered in her ear
" Thanks Kevin, I mean, for everything!" she said swallowing the rock in her throat. AJ grabbed her hand and took her over to a reporter for teen magazine. Christina thought her wedding would be lower key with only family attending.
"So are you planning to take your wife on the road Mr. McLean?" A reporter asked. AJ turned to Christina and yelled to the reporter. "I'll take her to the ends of the earth with me." He kissed her hand and Christina blushed. She whispered in AJ’s ear if she could talk to him. He nodded and asked the reporters to excuse him. Christina led him into the house.
"So I mean what do we do now?" Christina giggled hugging AJ. He laughed.
"Whatever we want Mrs. McLean, I mean we really don't have to do anything if that's what you wish!" AJ smiled at Christina's laughing eyes.
" Well I'd like to get outta here before more reporters show up!" Christina said looking up at AJ he smiled and nodded.
" Hey Chrissy telephone." Howie said he smiled and handed her the phone. She walked into the living room as Howie and AJ talked.
"Hello, this is Christina." She said sitting down in her father's armchair.
"Hey, girl I just called to say I'm happy for you!" a too familiar voice said she sighed and tears welled up in her eyes.
" Bobby, how's April and the kids?" she asked wiping her cheeks. She heard her mom's laughter as Howie explained AJ’s last birthday party. She smiled and waited on Bobby's reply.
"Oh we’re fine…she um…she really misses you do you think you can come visit her before you go back to Orlando?" Bobby said hurriedly.
" Of course I mean me and AJ would be happy to stop by do you still live at Cornell?" she asked playing with her giant diamond wedding ring.
"Yep" he said he mumbled a good bye and hung up the phone. Christina did the same and wiped her eyes. She regains her posture and walked back into the hall where her mom, AJ and Howie were talking. She hugged AJ and rested her head on his shoulder.
" What's wrong?" he asked looking at the tears on her cheeks. He wiped them off and waited for her answer.
She smiled and replied, "Nothing for once everything in my life is perfect!"
