Chapter Two

So you've decided that the house is too large," Howie laughed as he put a box marked 'kitchen' down in the foyer. Christina nodded and bit her lip.

" I don't think AJ gave you the checkbook to purchase the first house you saw.' Howie said sitting down next to Christina.

" Well that's not how it happened see, I want room to move and build a studio for Alex but now I'm having second thoughts. I mean do we really need this much space?" Christina asked. Before Howie could respond there was a knock on the door.

Christina opened the door and AJ was standing there with a box of Chinese. Christina smiled as he walked in and pecked her on the cheek. Behind him followed Nick, Kevin and Brian.

"Hey, what's up!" Nick said she smiled and hugged him.

This was repeated with Brian but Kevin stopped and looked at her. "What's wrong Chrissy, you look like shit," he said kissing her on the cheek.

She smiled and mouthed 'I'll tell you later' he nodded and followed the boys into the huge kitchen. There was no table because the furniture store hadn't arrived yet. They sat on the barstools at the bar.

"So when will the table get here?" AJ asked ruffling Christina's hair. She sighed and ran her hand through her head.

"Soon I hope because I can't wait to start cooking!" she said she took a Pepsi from the bar and walked from the kitchen.

"Oh AJ she really got you in check!" Nick said taking an egg roll from a box.

" Shut up!" Kevin and AJ said at the same time. AJ stood and followed Christina. He found her upstairs laying in the master bedroom. AJ lay on the floor next to her, she looked at him then turned her back to him.

" What's wrong Christina?" AJ asked as gentle as he could he placed his hand on her shoulder. He felt her tense up. She sat up and shook her head.

" I don't know AJ I mean I know when we were dating the boys were around a lot but now there a part of this household plus I think the house is too big!" she said grimacing as AJ slowly sat up to look her in the eyes.

" Well I can change the first problem but Christina I didn't buy the house I was out of town but I think it fits us perfectly. Once we put furniture in it it'll be the most attractive thing anyone has sat their foot in." he said pulling Christina close to him. She nodded and closed her eyes. They sat in that position for about an hour.

"AJ, the phone!" Nick called from the bottom steps.

Christina sat up for AJ to go get the phone he hesitated. "Are you ok?" he asked Christina. She looked at his questioning eyes and smiled

"I'm just fine now go get the phone." He nodded and kissed her forehead she smiled as he left the room. That was her husband and he loved her very much she smiled and rolled over on her stomach. This was all going to work itself out. She knew but for some reason she felt weird about something. She sighed and dismissed the nagging thought. She heard AJ and Kevin burst out in very loud laughs. She smiled and stood up. She walked down stairs and watched as Kevin, Howie, Brian, Nick and AJ ate the remaining meal. This was her new family she smiled and walked into the kitchen.
