Chapter Three

~^~^~^~ The following day ~^~^~^~

“Hey Frack.” Brian said pressing away at the N64 controller.

“Yeah Frick?” Nick replied, his gaze never leaving the TV screen.

“How long have you and Billie been going out?” He said slyly looking over.

“Oh about 3 years no- I mean!” his eyes got all big and buggy.

“I knew it! You two were way to flirty last night to be just goofing around! Nuh uh! That’s wasn’t flirting,” Brian said standing up, pointing at Nick accusingly. “That was foreplay!”

Nick just sighed standing up. “Alright. You caught me.” He dropped his arms to his sides. “What can I say? I love her.”

Brian’s eyes got all glossy. “Aww! I didn’t know you two were in love! I just thought you two were just bonking each other for fun…. Awww Frack that’s great!” Brian jumped and gave him a big hug.

“Yea... Great” He sighed sitting down on his bed.

“I don’t like the sound of that.” Brian said sitting down next to him. “What’s da matter?”

“It’s just that, she doesn’t want A.J. to find out. She’s afraid he’s gunna go all ape shit on me.” Nick sighed again scratching his head.

“What makes her think that?”

“Well there was that whole Inferno incident if you don’t remember.” He laughed.

Brian laughed as well. “Oh I remember! Kevin and I had to apologize for him”

“Yea, that and she said she had this horrible dream he was hanging me from a tree by his parachute pants.”

“Whoa!”

“Tell me about it! I guess I can understand why she can be so upset about the whole thing. I just wish I can get it all over with and tell everyone so we don’t have to do all this hiding,” Nick sighed once again.

“Just give her time. Sooner or later she won’t be able to hold it back any longer and she’ll jump you right in front of A.J. and not care what happens.” Brian laughed.

“Now THAT I wouldn’t mind!”

“I just wanna know one thing though.”

“Yea what’s that?” Nick stood up and walked back to his game.

“Have you guys… ya know!” Brian said grinning, nodding his head up and down.

“Maybe…” Nick grinned, his eyes still on the screen, again.

“You go Nick! Billie’s hot!” he said jokingly.

“That’s my girlfriend you’re talking about there.” Nick laughed.

“Yea I know. Do you think I can borrow her for the weekend?”

“That’s it!” Nick jumped on Brian laughing. They were wrestling around when Kevin popped his head in.

“Hey guys you wanna go shopping with Howie and me before we leave?”

“We’re kinda busy now!” Nick said body-slamming Brian on the bed.

“And what, might I ask is the subject of this fight?” Kevin chuckled.

“I asked Nick if I could fondle his girl- “ Brian got cut off but Nick’s socked foot.

“My girlish figure!” Nick said wide-eyed.

“Ok, I don’t wanna know! What you two do in your own time is between you two!” Kevin said and ran out of the room like greased lightning! (Go! Go! Go! Go, go, go, go, GOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Go grease lighting! Go grease lightning!)

Brian spit out Nick’s foot. “Aw ew… Nick what have you been stepping in?” he spit a couple more times to get something out of his mouth.

~^~^~^~^~ Somewhere else ~^~^~^~^~

Oh yea baby! A night out with the girls! After a delicious meal at McDonalds, Willow, Gypsy, and Billie found them selves at Waldo’s World of Mini Golf.

“Gypsy will you putt already! Those little kids are looking like they’re ready to charge at us!” Willow said nervously, staring at the group of 11 year olds that were impatiently waiting. She was dressed up in Kaki cargo pants

Gypsy hit the ball and got a hole in one. “See, patience is practice.”

Billie laughed, “Gyps do you have any idea what you are talking about?”

“Nope!”

They all laughed and ran to the next whole. Billie’s eyes opened in terror as she ran away screaming.

“She has got to get over this clown thing…” Willow laughed, setting the golf ball up.

“A.J. is the same way… do ya think it my have something to do with some traumatic episode in their childhood that causes them to panic and run away every time they see a red honky nose and a rainbow wig?” (Clowns are evil! They are scary looking, they laugh funny and dammit I don’t care what anyone says it’s not normal for a grown up person to dress up in bright colors, wear white face pant, honk their nose, and ride around in a tricycle that would be big enough for a 1 year old while making funky ass balloon aminals! IT’S JUST ALL WRONG!!)

Willow laughed, hitting the ball, “Who knows. I have no idea how Nick puts up with it ‘cuz I sure as hell can’t!” she walked over to the ball to putt again.

“Well, I’ve gotten used to it. I mean, remember my cousin’s 7th birthday party? When we ordered a clown for the entertainment. I have never seen a 16 year old cry so much.”

“Yea poor A.J…” She hit the ball and went to the next whole to find Billie sitting there waiting all out of breath. (I feel your pain A.J.)

Gypsy tapped her shoulder with her golf club, “Are you ok now?”

Billie was still a bit shaky, “Yea… a little…” she goes up to putt.

“So what was that whole thing with cheering the enemy the other night Willy?”

Billie looked up from the tee, “Yea! What gives!”

Willow smiled, “Nothing…”

“Sure… whatever!”

“Woo Hoo! Hole in one baby!” Billie screamed out, dancing around the hole. They laughed at her and Gypsy walked up, ready to swing.

“A.J. and I are just good friends that’s all. I mean ew its Billie’s older brother! And besides, all I did was cheer him on.” Willow grinned, “ Unlike two people that seemed to be all over each other!”

Gypsy raised her club to swing. “Yea Billie, you guys almost got caught!”

Willow laughed, “I was talking about you and Brian!”

“Wha!?” Gypsy swung the club sending the ball flying through that air bouncing off the plastic palm tree, the clown nose, the little windmill…

“”WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?”

“You and Brian were all cuddly and flirty all night.”

“We were NOT!” Gypsy screamed out. The golf ball ricocheted off the pirate ship and hit Willow square in the face.

Billie ducked as the ball barely missed her “Whoa!”
