Cocaine Wishes and Spandex Dreams
Ahh yes...The 1980's. Spandex was cool... Your boyfriend had longer, BIGGER hair then you, and what a silly boy, he stole your lipstick AGAIN!
Bands such as Motley Crue, Poison, Guns N' Roses, Skid Row, Ratt, Whitesnake & Slaughter dominated the Billboard charts.
What I find TRULY amazing in all of this is that with all the hairspray these guys used to acheive 3ft high hair, and you KNOW a lot of them smoked cigarettes, and yet, no one ever spontaniously combusted.
That would have been one HELL of a sight...
The 80's left a mess...everybody was losing their hair from all the teasing & Aquanet, nose jobs were being performed daily to correct the cocaine damage, and closets were stuffed to the brim with Shoulder-Padded jackets & various articles of clothing that had fringe on them...
