As Chelsea, Annie, and Major Whitlock made their way through the backstage area, AJ spotted them and rushed to great Chelsea, taking her in his arms.

"Hey, 'Beautiful'! Did you and my little pumpkin enjoy the beach?"

"Always, but SOMEONE is worn out," smiled Chelsea.

AJ let go of Chelsea and picked Annie up. As he held her, she put her head on his shoulder. "Are you tired, 'Pumpkin'?"

"Yes sir," mumbled the little girl.

"I was going to take her to the bus so she can take a nap but I need someone to sit with her if I'm going to watch sound checks."

"Marcus is around. Get him."

"Sweetheart, I'll sit with her," offered Major Whitlock.

"Are you sure, Daddy? I thought you wanted to see soundchecks."

"The show will be enough. Show me the way."

Major Whitlock took Annie from AJ, Chelsea gave AJ a kiss, and the threesome headed out to the bus. She showed her dad around after getting Annie tucked into her bunk making sure he knew where the refrigerator was and the TV.

"Thank you, Daddy. I'll come back after sound checks."

"Just enjoy your time with Alex. I think I can find my way back inside when Annie wakes up. I might take a nap myself. I'd forgotten how much energy a six year old has."

Chelsea started to leave but stopped and looked back at her dad as he got comfortable on the couch to watch some television. She knew in that moment that she was going to make him extremely happy with her own surprise at his pinning-on. It had been her dream for as long as she could remember and AJ supported her completely.

Inside, Chelsea made her way out to where she could watch the sound check that had already started. The guys were singing and practicing some of the choreography for the show as fans looked on. Unfortunately, the fans closest to her caught sight of her and their attention turned to her pointing to her and whispering amongst themselves.

AJ saw the reaction of the fans and looked in the direction that they were looking to see Chelsea sitting with Leigh and Michelle. He smiled at her which only set the fans into more whispering.

Question and answer time came and this was where things would come out completely to the fans. The very first question set it all in motion.

The young girl stood and said, "You guys have always been up front and honest with your fans so, AJ, at the first show, there was a message asking 'My beautiful woman' to marry me on August 6th from Alex. She answered back with 'Yes I will'. Was that you?"

AJ looked over at Chelsea who nodded her head to go ahead. Smiling, he said, "It was me."

"Is she the one who came out as you were singing?" asked another fan.

"It was." Turning to Chelsea, he extended his hand to get her to join him. She moved to him and he wrapped his arm around her waist, "This is Chelsea, my fiancee. She has been a fan of the group since we got started and she got to see us when we were in Europe at the very beginning. We officially met in Virginia at the last show of the Up Close and Personal tour back in April. We have been together ever since."

The next question. "Who is the little girl that we've seen with Kevin and you and Chelsea?"

Kevin was already standing next to the couple and he spoke up, "That is my daughter…by Chelsea. She and I dated for about six months seven years ago while Dianne and I were broken up."

"AJ, how do you feel about Kevin and Chelsea having a child together?"

"How long will Chelsea tour with you?"

"The rest of this leg but December is going to be kinda big for her. She graduates from law school and then is going to pursue her dream of being a lawyer."

"Your own personal attorney?"

All of the guys laughed and AJ said, "I hope not. Her specialty is criminal law."

Nick spoke up, "Hey, 'J', why don't we do 'My Beautiful Woman'?"

All of the guys agreed and as Chelsea tried to escape, AJ held onto her hand so that he could sing to her. He had the same energy dancing with her now as he had during the shows and she matched him. When the song was over, AJ gave her a kiss and she moved back to her seat.

There were a few more questions before the guys wrapped up the sound checks and headed back to have dinner before getting ready for the show. AJ went to Chelsea and held hands as they headed backstage as well.

Stopping in a private spot before joining the main area, AJ had Chelsea turn to face him. Taking her face in his hands, he said, "My beautiful woman, I love you so much and I can't tell you how proud of you I am. You made so many sacrifices to get to this point."

"I love you too, Alex," she whispered against his lips. "I couldn't do any of it without your support. It's going to be the toughest part of our marriage."

"We'll make it, beautiful," stated AJ. "Have you talked to Kevin about it?"

"Not yet, but I'm sure he'll be just as supportive. He never wanted me to give up my dream in the first place…that's why he walked away… and to give me a chance to meet you," she smirked.
