Believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior are strongly encouraged to follow His example and be baptized. Candidates for baptism at Splashdam FWBC have the choice of immersion in the baptistry (baptismal font) located inside the church or traditional river immersion. River immersion usually takes place in the McClure River across from Turner Chevrolet (Rt. 83, Haysi). If you have additional questions about salvation, baptism, or other beliefs of the church, please refer them to the pastor, deacons, or a member of the church.
