I would like to thank everyone that attended the Booster Club meeting on February 21. We had a great turnout. I would like to take a moment to recap our meeting. The following items were discussed.

BINGO

We are asking all Varsity and Junior Varsity parents to work five sessions between November 1, 2004 and October 31, 2005.

We are also asking all Middle School parents to work two sessions during this time period.

We need officers to work as Treasurers, Game Managers, Callers, and Instant Managers. If you would like to be trained on these positions, or can work on the floor, please contact Debra Rigsby at the number listed below. Several parents have already worked the requested sessions and have volunteered for more sessions. If you have not worked your requested sessions, please contact Debra Rigsby as soon as possible.

Also, please be reminded, if you are unable to work on the night you signed up, try to trade with someone else in the Girls Basketball Club. If you are unable to trade with someone, please contact our Bingo Coordinator as early as possible.

If you have questions concerning bingo dates or other bingo questions, Debra Rigsby can be contacted at 890-4749. I would like to thank everyone for his or her participation in Bingo.

NEW BUSINESS

The executive board recommended that Jeff Bush be elected President and Debbie Seckinger be elected second Vice-President. A motion was made and seconded to agree with this recommendation. The new officers were elected by unanimous vote. All other officers agreed to retain their current positions. I will work with Jeff over the next couple of months as we transition to a new executive board.

We discussed and made plans for our Banquet. Due to recent spring sports scheduling, we will have to change the date of our banquet. The new date for our banquet has been set for Thursday, April 7. We also discussed RSVP forms and the purchase of gifts for the girls. RSVP forms should be received soon. Please respond and make any necessary payments by the dates indicated on the form. It is very important that we have an accurate count of all attending.

The next is scheduled for Monday, April 25 in the WBHS cafeteria at 6:30 PM. Please remember that we need help with Bingo. Please contact Debra if you can work any sessions this month. A lot is going on and I ask that all of you be as involved and assist as much as possible. Please contact me at 977-3656 if you have any questions or concerns.
