Heather and Tracy were already rooming together and the same with Jennifer and Amy, so I got a room all to myself. I didn’t get to sleep until almost midnight. So I barely heard my alarm at 3 am.
“Morning!” came a bright and cheery voice.
Glancing up I saw Brian. “How on earth are you this awake on three hours sleep?” I managed.
“Easy, I didn’t go to sleep. I would’ve been too tired!”
“Ugh, five more minutes!” I begged.
“Umm… how about…no!”
“How did you get in here anyway?”
“I got a hotel employee to let me in. Turns out, I am the love of her life and she can’t wait to see the video!” Brian laughed.
“Well then go wake her up,” I mumbled.
“Come on!” he yanked the blanket away and dragged me out of bed. He was holding a frappichino.
“Alright, I’m up, I’m up. Let me take a shower and I’ll be down in 15 minutes.” I promised.
Fifteen minutes later I was dressed and met the others.
“Morning!” Heather said brightly.
“More morning people? When does it end?” I wondered.
We loaded a bus and soon arrived at the place they were shooting a video.
“Oh this is gonna be awesome!” Tracy said, amazed. “Wouldn’t it be awesome to get to be in a video?”
“What would be awesome would be sleeping! It’s still pitch black outside!” I complained.
~Brian’s point of view~
“Hey, have you told him yet?” Nick asked AJ pointing to me.
“Nope!” he glanced at the girls near the front of the bus.
“Well while you were out in the country, we asked Nigel, the director, who the girls were gonna be in the video.”
“Yeah, so?” I didn’t see the point.
“Well he said they hadn’t been cast yet. And I told him about the four girlfriends and one soon to be girlfriend…” AJ looked at Nick. “ Cough cough Wimp!…. anyway, the director said there was a possibility they could be the people in the video. But we’ll have to wait and see.”
“I’m not a wimp!” Nick mentioned.
“Really? That’s cool.” I said to AJ, ignoring Nick.
“Well, if you’ll excuse me, I’m missing valuable making out time here,” AJ got up and moved beside Amy.
Soon we arrived on the set.
“Breakfast!” I screamed, seeing a buffet set out in a warehouse building.
“I’m gonna find someplace to crash while I can!” Nick said, heading for a couch in a side room.
The director was talking to some camera crew.
“..It doesn’t matter what the physical manifestation might be, as long as that person has an attitude that feels right..” he started talking about the video.
“This is gonna be a long day!” Kevin said, getting some food. We all sat down at some tables and started eating. Nigel and some other people, including Fatima, our choreographer, started talking to us.
“Are these the five girls you were talking about?” Nigel asked AJ.
