Chapter 2
“Finally you opened your eyes” it was his mother sitting next to him.
“What happened?” Taylor asked confused.
“You hit your head while riding” his mom informed him.
“Oh” he said touching his head, it was sticky. “Mom, can you bring me a mirror please?”
“I don’t know…” he mom doubt id it would be a good idea for Taylor to see himself in a mirror.
“Please” he begged. Diana stood up and took a little mirror from her purse.
“Here” she said and handed him the mirror.
Taylor took a deep breath and look in the mirror. A big part of his head was covered with blood, both of his eyes were black and he had a huge cut on his right cheek. “I really hurt my self” he murmured.
“Would you like to see your friends? They are all waiting outside, Nate, Josh, Sean, Crystal and your brothers” his mom said.
“Sure” he had a huge headache.
“Hey!” they all came in with big smiles on their faces.
“How are you feeling?” Crystal asked sitting next to Taylor in a old red chair.
“Ok” he said looking into her brown eyes “You look beautiful” he said and smiled at her.
“Thanks” she said blushing, she always liked when Taylor said something nice to her.
There was a long silence no one said anything, they felt a little uncomfortable.
“Hmm I will get something to drink, anyone else?” Josh asked.
“I will go with you” Zac said.
“I would like a Dr. Pepper” Taylor said.
“I don’t think you are aloud to drink anything besides water” Diana said.
“Ok, then I don’t want anything thanks” Taylor said and started at his hands that were full of bruises.
“I am really glad that you could survive” Nate said to Taylor.
“It wasn’t that big deal, Nate” Taylor said “I didn’t hit my head so hard”
“Oh yeah, you did. The doctors say you are a miracle” Nate told Taylor.
“Oh, I had no idea” Taylor said confused.
“Well Taylor I am happy to see that you are fine, but I have to get going. I have to go back to college” Nate said.
“Ok, thanks for coming” Taylor smiled at his friend.
“Nate, I will go with you. I am supposed to go over to a friends house to finish my biology project” Crystal said, she was in 12th grade. She kissed Taylor on his forehead softly. “Take care sweetie, I love ya” she said and she left the room with Nate. Sean stayed there, he looked like a really nice guy and also a really good friend. Diana’s cell phone rang.
“Hold on, it must be your dad calling to see how are you doing” she said and went outside the room to pick up the phone call.
“You know Taylor, my girlfriend was murdered” Sean said out of nowhere.
“What? I am very sorry” Taylor said surprised.
“Yeah, 1 month ago, I couldn’t live in Norman any more so I decided to move here” why is he telling me all these things? Taylor thought. “I haven’t told this to anyone”
“Don’t worry” Taylor said. “Hmm how old was she?”
“Sixteen, going on seventeen” he sat down and covered his mouth with his hands “She was really pretty, long cherry-blond hair, green eyes…”
“What?” Taylor interrupted him, he was describing the girl he saw.
“That’s the way she looked” Sean said.
“The girl I see all the time looks exactly like that” Taylor said lowly “What was her name?” Taylor asked.
“Taylor your father is very worried about you” Diana said entering the room. Josh and Zac also arrived at the same time.
“Good news” Zac said to Taylor “You can drink Dr. Pepper” he said and handed Taylor a bottle of his favorite coke.
“Thanks” Taylor grabbed the coke and putted it on the desk he had next to his bed. He was still surprised and confused about what Sean told him. Is Sean’s girlfriend the one I am seeing all the time? Who is it? Why is she bleeding? Taylor questioned himself.
“Well, I should better get going” Sean said.
“I will go with you” Josh said “I am late to class” he was in college same as Taylor, Nate and Ike that was in his last year of University.
“Thanks for coming guys” Diana said.
“Bye”

One month has passed since Taylor came out of the hospital and the girl stopped appearing and Taylor forgot about her completely. He was making his life normal again, with the bruise he had on his right cheek, black dark circles under his eyes and with a few headaches from now and then.
“Yo! Taylor!” Keith shouted “What’s up man? How are ya?” he was a really enthusiastic guy.
“Hey!” Taylor said and both shacked hands. “I am getting better, what’s up with you?” it long time since both of them talked or saw each other. With different schedules, they barley saw each other.
“Nothing new, same as always even though I met this hottie, Tania” he said smiling, his white teeth shine. Taylor smiled, Keith was always going out with a different girl every day. “This time is serious, believe me” he said. “Anyway Taylor, a few of us are going to hang out at Sean’s place, we are going to be waiting for you” he said “I have to go now, see ya there” he said and left Taylor.
“See ya” Taylor said.
“Hey Taylor, I found out that you and Crystal aren’t dating no more and I got you a new babe” he said and Taylor blushed.
“Thanks” Taylor shouted back.
“Felicia!” Keith shouted “Felicia!” Taylor laughed.
Taylor had lots of work for college, since he missed one month because of the accident. He couldn’t go that afternoon to Sean’s house, but he would do anything possible, he really needs time off college.
He was standing alone in the middle of the hallway alone, no one around. He walked rapidly to his music class, his favorite class.
“Wait” someone murmured. Taylor turned around to see who it was. The girl…Taylor was breathless, he thought that after all that time he wouldn’t see her again.
“I thought that you were out of my life forever!” Taylor said loudly to her.
“Help me” she said lowly, she couldn’t talk really loud.
“You are just my imagination, so leave me alone!” Taylor said, a girl passing next to him make her disappear. “Did you see her?” Taylor asked to the girl.
“Saw who?” she asked.
“The blond girl, with the black dress” he was desperate.
“No, sorry” she said and left Taylor standing in the middle of the shadows alone.
What’s going on? I am going crazy? Taylor didn’t know what to do or say, he was really confused.
That afternoon, he was alone in his bedroom, only his sister Jessica was there and no one else. Everyone was out. He started out his window, you could see the beautiful garden, with red roses and a few tress. The last light of the day surrounding that garden, were also some toys of Taylor’s younger siblings could be seen. There was something that disturbed Taylor, there was something black lying on the garden, something he couldn’t recognize.
“Jesse” he called for his younger sister “Jesse come here!” he called louder.
“What do you want, Taylor?” she asked entering his brothers room.
“Come and see this” he said and pointed out the window where the black cloth was lying.
“I don’t see anything” she said looking puzzled.
“Don’t you see that black cloth…there?” he asked.
“It looks like a dress” Jesse finally said “I have no idea where it came from”
“Neither do I” Taylor said “But you see don’t you?” Taylor asked.
“Yes, of course I do” she said walking away from him.
“Ok! Thank you so much!” he said and ran downstairs to the garden.
He walked outside slowly, he was scared to see her again and to see her bleed. He came closer to the dress and the dress suddenly started to move. Taylor took a deep breath.
“How can I help you?” Taylor said really scared and frighten.
“Come closer to the bushes” a deep voice said. Taylor took a deep breath and walked towards the bushes that were full of red roses.
“Now, how can I help you?” Taylor asked taking a deep breath.
“Like this!” the voice yelled and jumped over Taylor. Taylor screamed, he was really frighten. His friends came out of the bushes and started to laugh, they couldn’t stop laughing. Nate, Josh, Zac and Keith.
“We have it all on tape!” Keith laugh really hard, none of them couldn’t stop laughing.
“This is not funny” Taylor said furiously.
“Your face” Nate said in between laughs “You were scared as hell”
“What’s going on?” Jesse came out of the house scared. “Taylor, are you alright?”
“Yes, don’t worry” Taylor said standing up and taking a few leafs off his back. He entered his house, he was really mad at his friends and with his brother, Zac.
“Taylor wait, we were just joking” Zac said grabbing Taylor by his arm.
“For real?” Taylor said sarcastically “For this is not a joke”.
After that, Taylor decided it would be better for him to stay home and forget about this. He was really worried about her, especially with the image he saw. When her tears became blood dripping from her head and her mouth.
“Taylor, your father is coming today and I will go to the airport to pick him up, Zoë and Mackenzie are staying, please put an eye on them” his mother said to him.
“Sure” he really liked to take care of his to younger siblings, since they were really good.
He putted his notebooks away and went to the living room where both of them where playing. He turned the TV on and Mackie and Zoë sat on his lap and in short time they fall asleep. Taylor took both of them to their rooms. He went to his bedroom to finish some work and there was a disturbing light coming from his window. He walked towards the window and there she was. Like always, looking straight to Taylor’s room. He ran out of his room downstairs and went to the garden. He was sure that this couldn’t be his friends since he never described her.
He walked over to her, slowly and she was starting into his eyes. “What’s your name?” Taylor asked in a shaky voice.
“Angela”
