JESUS Christ ICCDBB prefers this New Translation of John 12:44 "But Jesus loudly declared, 'The one who believes and trusts in Me does not believe [only] in Me" [rather] "[also believes] in Him who sent Me.' " and "only" in the sense of merely. The word "only" might be interpreted as to mean plural as is less appropriate (see previous in this Series).
JESUS Christ ICCDBB warns of interpretations when there are negatives, and in this "New Translation" it still is Not clear, as rather as recorded in Greek and as translated into English, the meaning may have been with less ascended value(s): rather than this verse being about JESUS or His Father (see in this Series on Oneness as Proven) the emphasis is for Gathering into Oneness as JESUS Christ Holy Father Spirit One applies.
For instance a Person repents and is Baptized as JESUS Christ One though at a lower level such as the feet hardly speak as the feet follow the legs and His Faithful Heart (previous Sermon "His Heartfelt unselfish Passion") [and Mind].

The "sound of the LORD" was JESUS Christ as much as manifested in the Garden Of Eden, the "sound of the LORD" God JESUS Christ One. The Holy Father is Spirit hence not in need of "walking" save if manifested for their sakes as JESUS Christ with perhaps His legs making stepping sounds and/or His body moving branches.
JESUS' point of John 12:44 is rather than about the census body vessel is the Faithful Centerline Ascending Word With His Work such as currently to Lead All into His Best For All Joy Gift.
His point is like being careful with a drinking glass if not sure if it contains water that might not be seen until such as to feel it's weight and see the water move or such as if another broadcasts the news for You so You don't spill it.
