Tribute to Owen Hart, 1965 - 1999

This page is dedicated to Owen Hart, professional wrestler, family man and preactical joker of the WWF. Owen passed away on the night of the pay perview, "Over The Edge" while attemping a descent from the rafters before his match with the Godfather. He had tested out the rig prior to the actual appearance in the match, but when it came time for the descent, something went wrong, and he fell about 50 feet, his head and neck striking the turn buckle, and landed inside the ring. He was pronounced dead on the scene. I still think that they should have ended the ppv the instant that he died. But I guess profit is better, right Vince. Our heart-felt sympathy goes out to his family, as well as his brother, Bret Hart. Owen Hart was a Canadian native, hence this page is dedicated to him, from one Canadian to another. You will be sorely missed Owen Hart, for all that you gave to the world of professional wrestling, as well as to your devoted wife and children. God be with the family, and Owen, for he is now in a better place.

It's been a couple of months since it happened, and Bret finally came back to the wcw. I watched the match even though Idon't watch wcw, and I was dissapointed in the fans. Good thing wwf fans are louder I guess. The man came back after losing his brother, and these people don't show appreciation.

I would like to think that Vince and Bret could solve their differences, but if it's for Bret rolling around in dog shit like the British Bulldog, he better stay in the wcw. As always, my love goes out to Bret, not only because he's Canadian that did so much for this country, but because he's a good athlete as well, and he's a nice guy to talk to.
