However unusual the name is, he is Valjean.
He was the first Jean ever (they even changed his whole part to match his tenor
pitch) and is the best at it.
Javert-
Philip Quast (Dream Cast)
Wow. If you want to hear what Javert
should sound like, he's the one to listen to.
Fantine-
Ruthie Henshall (Dream Cast)
Amazing. When I saw the play, I was sure
that "On My Own" would always be my favorite female solo, but her "I Dreamed A
Dream" changed that.
Cosette-
Judy Kuhn (Dream
Cast)
A lot of people criticize her, but I think she is
excellent. Cosette's part is EXTREMELY difficult, and Judy's performance
is quite moving.
M. Thénardier-
Alun Armstrong (Dream Cast)
Hilarious! He and Ms. Galloway make a great
performance.
Mme. Thénardier-
Jenny Galloway (Dream Cast)
She's just funny. Her songs are all good
and you can tell she has a great time doing it!
Gavroche-
Adam Searles (Dream Cast)
He's very talented, but I have not seen his death
scene, so I cannot fully praise his ability.
Enjolras-
Michael Maguire (Dream Cast)
He is an excellent Enjolras; I have seen no one
do a better performance.
Marius-
Michael Ball (Dream Cast)
He's extremely talented and full of emotion.
His songs are all moving and express the play perfectly.
Eponine-
Lea Salonga (Dream Cast)
Eponine is, and will always be, my favorite
character. Lea is THE BEST Eponine EVER! She expresses Eponine's
character exactly how it should be!
