Something to splash out on... - Page 2 - Written by SteM

Once you have pasted the code, replace the marked sections with your program details and then run the code to check it works. Make sure you have added you design where marked in the code. The result should be a neat looking window with your design.

3 - Final Touches

The window will either pop up quickly for a second or stay put and you wont be able to close it properly. To solve this, you will notice a button called 'Continue' which can be clicked in order to move on to the main program. For experienced users, you may want to add a timer function, or a loading process to the window and get rid of the button.

4 - Overall

A look at this guide in brief:

- Create you design for the window
- Copy and paste the provided code into the start of your program
- Change the marked details in the code to suit your program
- Double check everything and run the code to test it

If you have any problems with this guide or have found any mistakes then please send some feedback to let me know. As I said this is my method of making a splash screen and I hope it has helped you. Enjoy!
