My daughter came to me after school with a flyer that was advertising a karate class that was opening up near our home. I looked at it and thought “oh my, here we go again”. You see, my daughter was 10 and had brought home these flyers that involved majorettes, gymnastics, etc and each time we joined. By the 5th or 6th month of each of these activities she would be begging to me to let her quit. She liked to read, work on the computer and watch TV but as far as physical activities where concerned, she would always start out with great enthusiasm, but would get very frustrated with it and then want to quit.

After several attempts on her part, I finally gave in and took her to join for the “trial period”. Needless to say, that was 1-1/2 years ago and she just LOVES her karate classes. She has lost some weight and replaced it with toned muscle. She has developed a self-confidence in herself that she didn’t have before. Now, she rides her bike instead of watching TV, goes for walks instead of being on the internet, helps around the house without a fight, etc., etc.

My youngest daughter was taking Irish step dancing and was asked by her sister to come to “bring a friend night” at Clyde’s karate and needless to say that after just 1 class, she wanted to leave dance classes and enroll in karate.

Master Clyde has been a great influence in each of my daughter’s lives. He is a true friend and teacher to these children and the skills that he teaches the children will be something that they will carry with them for their entire lives. Master Timothy Clyde strives to teach his students to be controlled, respectful, courteous, good students that learn to work as a team and who will evolve into great adults.

I highly recommend this program to all people, young and old.

My wife and I found Clydes Karate while we were searching for a fun, structured activity to enroll our four year old son, Logan, into. While I sat and watched the first class, we were pleasantly surprised. It was very obvious, the emphasis Master Clyde places on respect, self-discipline and self confidence during his classes. While we watched, the students from the next class started to come in. While we continued to watch, words such as "Thank you, excuse me and Please" began to stand out to us, coming from the students. Several young teen-agers, Red Belts, came up to my wife and I, shook our hands looked us directly in the eye and introduced themselves to us. When my son's class ended, these same students approached him, a four year old, and introduced themselves to him as well.

Based on what we experienced, we enrolled Logan with Clyde's Karate. He has been a student of Master Clyde's for the past two months. Logan, looks forward to class every week. He is making friends and is excited to show both his Mom and I what he has learned that day. He sets up obstacle courses (similar to the ones Master Clyde does in class) in our living room for his little sister, who is too young right now to enroll.

I don't know much about the Karate he is being taught, but I do know that our son is being taught good morals that will last a life time.

My son, Noah has been attending Clyde's Karate for almost a year now. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My son's confidence level has improved and he is doing great in school. He has also made several new friends. Master Clyde is very patient and attentive with each child.

I would highly reccomend any child to join the program.

My name is Jennifer Harding and my son, Logan, is a white belt in the Tots Class at Clyde's Karate. He has been in the class for about three months nowand has learned so much. My husband and I have seen such a change in him, such as his listening skills and his interactionwith other children. I'm so glad to have Clyde's Karate. Master Clyde is a great teacher and I know Logan will stick with this for a long time.

Our son Dalton is about to start his third month with Clyde's Karate. He is six years old and is about to move up to the Kick Start class. He loves his his classes and has learned a lot. I love the fact that they learn more then just karate. He has learned things such as what to do if he is lost from his parents, what to do if a stranger approaches him, and manners. We all try to teach our childrenthese things but sometimes it takes someone they look up to, for them to really get it. I really would like to thank Master Clyde for his great patience and kindness with the kids and parents both.

My son Bryce enjoys coming to Karate every Saturday. He has gotten more confident since joining. Master Clyde is excellent with all the children as well as teaching them. I am so glad that my son wanted to join. I would encourage everyone to put their child in this Karate School because he is such an excellent instructor.
