We recently traveled to Atlanta, expecting a relaxing kick-off to the holiday season. Instead we experienced....

THE GINGERBREAD HORROR HOUSE!

On a quiet evening in November, the gingerbread construction kit was unveiled, accompanied by good cheer and smiling faces.

Initial construction was uneventful....the icing and drinks flowed. All seemed right with the world.

Soon it was apparent that the roof was not secured properly. No problem, we thought. We were wrong. However, construction continued, only this time with the help of the baker's favorite tool, the hot glue gun!

All the glue in the world couldn't prevent the inevitable. All four walls came crashing down. It was only by the grace on God that the gingerbread man was able to escape with his life!

Hope quickly turned to despair....all that we could do was destroy all the evidence and cover-up the disaster.
