Forty Years of James: Turmoil and Triumph

EPISODE 2: OUT OF THE WINDOW, INTO DESPAIR

James' life took a sharp turn for the worse during his early teenage years, partly due to his incessant quest for money. Below his is seen forcing his brother to panhandle in the streets with a sign reading  "Trumpet Serenades $5". Predictably, no one takes him up on this offer, escalating his fall to the dark side. Note that this shameless display of salesmanship (as well as the tie) is rejuvenated in his later career as a Financial Recruiter.

As he grew older, James seemed to lash out at all forms of authority. This led him to join a group of outlaw cowboy bikers below. Many a day, James and friends would be seen terrorizing neighborhood residents and then return home with groceries in his little basket. Also note the knee-high socks; a fashion carry-over from his innocent childhood days.

As time went on,  James' situation became more and more hopeless. His mother would consistently ask him, "what are you going to do with your life?", but James refused to submit to her conformist ways. He would often say that he was a rebel and couldn't settle down to a typical suburban lifestyle. He craved excitement that a small town couldn't deliver.

James could often be heard arguing with his family about his problems. Below is the standard response he would issue prior to  riding off on his moped.

This self-destructive tendency eventually led to lowest point of his life. On a quiet summer evening, James was discovered lying in the bushes in the front of Nine House, drooling and incoherent.  Shortly after being brought back inside, James was found in a puddle of unidentified liquid. Not water, not urine, the mysterious substance still remains an enigma to this day.

It seemed as though James had strayed too far from the righteous path to be saved. But a strange turn of events would soon save his soul.....Forty Years of James P3
