Operating System Skills
	Windows 2000 Familiar with the Windows 2000 enivironment inluding: Installing or upgrading to Windows 2000 Professional manually or remotely. Administering access to resources including shared files, folders, and printers. Utilizing customized administrative consoles and controls (MMC) to configure and manage hardware devices, drivers, and network adapters. Maintaining and troubleshooting the Windows 2000 desktop environment including user profiles, desktop settings, printers, and other services. Monitoring system resources including memory, hard disk usage, and application performance. Implementing TCP/IP network protocol; linking computers and shared resources using dial-up and virtual private network connections. Ensure data and system security through Group Policy, NTFS Volumes, Encrypting File System, local shares and accounts, and backup procedures.
	Networking Protocols Recived training in basic networking skills including: Understanding of the OSI Model (Open Systems Interconnectivity) and IEEE Standards. Software and hardware configurations associated with Ethernet, token ring, and mesh topologies. Choosing network operating environments (peer-to peer vs. networked client/server environments). Selecting appropriate media and hardware including cabling, fiber optics, network adapter cards, and wireless technologies. Implementing network protocols such as TCP/IP, Netbios, NetBuei, Netware, and Appletalk. Security issues.
Programming Proficiencies
	Microsoft Access 2000 Hands on experience in database development including Database analysis and design. Creation and maintenance of tables, forms, queries, and reports. Integration and enhancement using VBA. Data access pages, active server pages, and web related technologies.
	Microsoft Excel 2000 Experience creating analysis tools including: Spreadsheets for financial reporting. Charts and graphs for presentations. Integration with databases. Use of OLE and productivity tools including mail merge and interactive web pages.
	Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Proficient in application development including: Use of forms, controls, sub procedures, and modules Active X documents and applications. ADO and database integration interfaces. Datadriven websites, VBSCRIPT, cookies, Microsoft webservers, and associated web technologies.
