Windows 2000 Familiar with the Windows 2000 enivironment inluding:
- Installing or upgrading to Windows 2000 Professional manually or remotely.
- Administering access to resources including shared files, folders, and printers.
- Utilizing customized administrative consoles and controls (MMC) to configure and manage hardware devices, drivers, and network adapters.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting the Windows 2000 desktop environment including user profiles, desktop settings, printers, and other services.
- Monitoring system resources including memory, hard disk usage, and application performance.
- Implementing TCP/IP network protocol; linking computers and shared resources using dial-up and virtual private network connections.
- Ensure data and system security through Group Policy, NTFS Volumes, Encrypting File System, local shares and accounts, and backup procedures.

- Understanding of the OSI Model (Open Systems Interconnectivity) and IEEE Standards.
- Software and hardware configurations associated with Ethernet, token ring, and mesh topologies.
