Aaron (Lygumai Revision List, 1866, lists an Aaron Ligum as being age 23) (Tillie Goodman says he was the "leader" of the town of Ligum; sent grandchildren -- Klavan, Zablow, Salsbury -- over to U.S. first; he came 1904 or 1905 [Ellis Island: arrived from Bremen, March 15, 1904, Kronprinz Wilhelm, age 62, of Legum, destination Norfolk, carried $200, "son I. Legum has shoe factory in Norfolk, Va"], then returned to Ligum, died 1914 of apoplexy after bank's money confiscated) married Annie (or Dora Willis? according to Barry Mann) (Lygumai R.L., 1866, says Shayne Feige, daugh. of Itsyk, age 23 -- thus born about 1843)
[Note that one "Annie Legum" is listed as arriving in Baltimore in 1887, age 32, along with identifiable children of Aaron, see next comment. This would make her born about 1855.]
[Tillie Goodman says that Aaron's sons were Israel of Portsmouth, Va., Jake of Berkley, Va., and I.W., and that Aaron's daughters didn't come to U.S. This conflicts arguably with the fact that the ship's arrival record for Annie (presumably Aaron's wife) in Balto. in 1887 lists her coming with "Abe, age 3," "I.W., age 14," "Libe age 7," "Rachel age 6," and "Sure age 10," although perhaps these were not her children.]
