This jewelry box was made
from Monkeypod, a wood
indigenous to Hawaii
and the Philippines. |

Its lacquered and waxed to a
high gloss, but due to the
porous nature of the wood,
you can still see open
pores. |
This is known as
an Amish Cupboard. It's made from pine, and has a raised, floating panel door. It is also lacquered and waxed. The
chef uses it to store (some of ) her cookbooks.

This clock is in the
traditional Shaker style, but I used
spalted Mango for the construction. Mango is also indigenous to the
Hawaiian Isles. |

Our entry hall
mirror. Made from one 2" x 10" x
7' piece of black
walnut. |

Made from red oak, stained
mission. I made it from a set of
plans from Woodsmith
magazine. |

Here is one of the pair of
matching nightstands to our bed. |

They are also made from red
oak and built from a set of plans from Woodsmith
magazine. |

This armoire was built from
cherry. It was lacquered and waxed to a high gloss
finish. |

The original plan called for
a center divider to run the full height of the interior. Originally
it was designed to hold clothes... seemed like a waste of a good
entertainment center to me! |
