Hi Mr. Spignesi
I hope you remembered me from last October when I asked you about which genre VCA should be under and how you got materials on VCA...
Well, I was working on getting all materials sent to my friend, Jennifer Wagnon who made a wonderful website called The Complete V.C. Andrews which is located on http://www.inconnect.com/~awagnon/vcandrews/vcandrews.htm I found information that she couldn't and I copied them and sent online along with sources. The purpose of this web site is to clear up any misunderstands and rumors, also it is an entertainment, informational, and educational purposes.
About the "Revision?" on the subject line.. I remember you told me that you are planning to do 2nd edition of The V. C. Andrews Trivia and Quiz Book, right? How is that going?
Just thought I would give you an update since our interview last year, a miniseries came out this year and next year, the family series will start but one thing that make this series different is there will be no prequel.
The Wildflowers Miniseries is about four girls drawn them together by their painful past to therapist's office to share their unfortunate tales.
The Arnold Family Series is about a biracial young girl who search for her identity and hertiage.
We were also told by the ghostwriter that he is working on another miniseries which is totally different from first two miniseries we've seen so far. I was hoping that he would work on miniseries about guys... just a thought... :-) We've been hearing about dasmels in distress, what about dudes in distress, LOL!
Well, take care! :-)
Steven
Hi Steven,
Good to hear from you, and glad to see you're so involved in the VC universe.
The status of my revision is as follows: We recently requested that Signet (the original publisher of my book) revert the rights to the book back to me, which they did a few months ago. We are now in talks with Simon & Schuster to do an updated, expanded, official VC Andrews Companion/Quiz Book and hope to have an answer soon. I am excited about working on the update and hope to make it even bigger and better than the original. (There was material left out for space in the first edition.) So, we'll see.
Keep in touch and hopefully I'll have some big news soon.
Still tending the flowers in the attic,
Stephen Spignesi
