What's New to the Site

As of 11 June 2000:

Change of Server
I've received a number of complaints regarding the visibility of the site (e.g. background image was replaced with Angelfire logo, Angelfire.com restricted access, etc). I've decided to transfer the pages to Geocities.com. I hope Geocities.com will not cause any difficulties for web browser users to view the site. I expect the transfer to be complete by the end of this week.

I will post the new address in the middle of the week.

As of 2 June 2000:

A Brand-New Layout
I developed a two-columned table layout for Rain. I will apply that layout to selected pages of the site. I also changed the layout of Website Index using unordered list.

The Hudson Series: Lightning Strikes
SimonSays.com provided the front cover of hardcover edition and back cover synopsis. I called a local bookstore to see if it has copies in yet. He said, "The copies of Lightning Strikes will be out anytime now." The scanned graphics of front cover and step-back illustration will be posted as soon as the book is out. So reserve a copy at Jennifer's Online Bookstore.

As of 28 May 2000:

The Complete V.C. Andrews
I have come to the realization that I just don't have the time to keep this website current. Thus, I have passed on ownership of The Complete V.C. Andrews to fellow VCA expert Steven Whitworth. Steven has been an integral part of this website for a long time, and I have complete faith in his site management. Thanks to all my loyal visitors; I hope you continue to use The Complete V.C. Andrews to get all your VCA information. Best wishes to you all... Take care!

Please note that the Bookstore URL has changed. You can still buy books, videos, and music from my Amazon.com-affiliated, newly updated and expanded online bookstore. Just visit the Bookstore page to link to Jennifer's Online Bookstore.

New Webmaster Speaks Out
Hey there, VCA fellows! :o) My name is Steven Whitworth. I accepted the honor to maintain and update The Complete V.C. Andrews web site. I will be working with Jennifer on graphics and bookstore. I will add the articles and other information that would interests you.

Just a quick reminder for what books to come out this year and next year. Remember, the publication date is subject to change by the publisher so cross your fingers that these books will be out according to the dates.

· Lightning Strikes (July 2000)
· Orphans (August 2000)
· Eye of the Storm (November 2000)
· End of the Rainbow (February 2001)

That is all for now. Watch for the articles to be added later in June.

One more thing, Jennifer is working on making better images of family trees for each series. So you will see "dummy" image when you access a series's family tree page.

E-mail and FAQ
We have set up a frequently-asked-questions page. So, before sending e-mail to the website, please refer to the FAQ to see if your question is answered there.
