Sophie, was my second Borzoi, and my introduction not just to showing a Borzoi, but to doing so successfully. She took her first points at six months and one day old, placing WB over much older competition. She was consistently placed either WB or RWB through out her short time in the ring.

She was also my introduction to obedience training in Borzoi, although never competing in the ring. She was a canine participant in the "Christmas Carrousel Fashion Show" here in Abilene, TX, at the age of eight months. She had 7 points at the age of one year, and was very sparingly shown over the next year as we waited for her to mature.

Unfortunately she was taken at a very early age by a very rare fungal infection (nocardia), and never completed her championship or the breedings I had planned for her future.
