Chapter 7

Alyssa stood there, trembling with a tear going down her face. She lifted the gun, aming it at Brian's chest. "I can't believe I gave myself up for you." Alyssa hated being used. It was one of her strongest weaknesses. And now, thinking she had been given the oppurtunity of a lifetime to be intimate with this guy,and hoping he felt that same.....found that it was nothing to Brian.

"Alyssa..please. You have a gun......you're not stable..." Brian pleaded with the broken-hearted girl to drop the gun. But he knew she had plans to use it and he prayed to God it wasn't used on him. "F*ck you Brian! You're nothing to me now! And you've already called your cousin. He'll get suspicious. He'll trace the call. They will find us..." Alyssa realized this was a bad idea from the start. She knew she should have never let herself become apart of this. She should have only helped Sydney and not herself. She didn't know what to do. Here she was, pointing a gun at a guy who didn't need to be here.

Alyssa felt a wave of guilt go over her. She couldn't take it anymore. She dropped the gun to her side and hung her head and began to cry, sobbing loudly to the floor. Brian looked at Alyssa. He couldn't help but feel sorry for her. He didn't want to hurt her, but he knew that something would happen to her. He slowly walked towards Alyssa, keeping a watchful eye on the gun at her side. He stood beside her and wrapped one arm around her shaking shoulder, and whispered into her ear.

"Alyssa. It's going to be OK. No one will know." He reached his hand down her arm and loosened her fingers off the trigger, letting the gun drop to the floor. He then put his other arm around her, letting her quietly cry into his chest.

Back At The Hotel

"Guys! Wake Up! NOW!" A large burly security guard nearly broke down each of the guys' doors, jerking Howie, Kevin, and Nick from their deep sleep.

"Wha? What's going on?" Nick slowly walks out of his room, no sooner he is wide awake. Security guards and police officers walk the hallway talking heavily to hotel security and every other important person known to man right next to his room. Nick quickly walks down hallway to Brian's room. Looking into the room, there was no sign of Brian. Nick ran out of the room and searched for his best friend. He then finds AJ's mom and she breaks the news to him.

"They think Brian & AJ might have been adbuducted in the middle of the night. We have a phone number but we haven't traced it yet. Please don't worry, Nick we'll find them." Nick slowly walks away from Mrs. McLean and drops into a corner.

Howie was the next to walk from his room. Eyes wide from all the commotion, he spots Nick slumped down in a corner. He runs over to Nick, demanding to hear what happened. "Someone's kidnapped Brian and AJ." Nick looked at Howie, trying to fight back the tears from coming. Howie dropped down beside his sobbing friend and tried his best to console him.

Hearing a door creak open, Howie feared the worst when he saw Kevin emerge, just as worried as anyone. Kevin immediately walks over to Howie. He didn't have to say anything to Kevin. All that Kevin needed to see was his cousin's best friend crying......and seeing Brian and AJ nowhere in sight. He slowly walks toward Brian's room.

Looking inside, the room was dark, except for the pale blue light coming from the edges of the curtain. Kevin walked over to the bed Brian slept in. Sitting down, he couldn't hold it in anymore. His thoughts drifted to his father, thoughts of not wanting to lose another loved one. He buried his head in his hands and began to sob loudly.
