Hello, welcome to my Web site!

Hi, my name is My Lam and I am currently a senior student at The University of Houston, Central Campus. I'm hoping to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, with a minor in Industrial Supervision, by Summer of 2000.

Currently, I am registered for 5 courses in the College of Technology at a The University of Houston. In addition to my school schedule, I am also working full time as a Technical Support Engineer at Compaq Computer Corporation, Cypress location. Trying to juggle both a full time job and full time school is extremely difficult and tiring but I want to be able to pursue my education and, at the same time, obtain some valuable working experiences that may help me in my future career path.

  • MSN.com: This site allows you to customize and view news and other useful information. MSN.com also gives you the capability of viewing the weather forecast for your location and checking on airfare specials and personal finance information. It also contains a search engine for your convenience.

  • Wells Fargo Bank: I visit this site to view my banking account information. I can obtain information about my current balance in both my checking and savings account. It also allows me to download my account history and view all my transactions. I also have the capability to pay my bills online.

  • The University of Houston Career Services: This site allows me to post my resume in the school's ResumeBank for campus recruitment and job search purposes. It also allows me to view a listing of companies that are recruiting and sign up for interviews with them. It's a great site to visit if you're interested in looking for a job for after graduation.

  • netEssentials: This site is created by Professor Crowley at the University of Houston, Central Campus. It contain the essential links to study guides for most of the Microsoft Certification programs. It also contains syllabus and lecture notes for the courses that Professor Crowley teaches.

  • Yahoo: This site allows you to open a free email account. You can also download games and chat programs at this site. You can also create a stock profile for yourself.
