This course presents current
issues associated with Advanced Internet Applications Development. It provides students with a first hand knowledge of methods utilized for
designing and building dynamic web sites.
Technical class content
includes XML and XSL technologies as well as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Script, and Active Server Pages (ASP).
This is a 'hands on'
course intended for advanced Information System Technology
students.
Objectives
When you complete this class, you will be able to:
- Draw and explain the WWW's
logical and physical architecture.
- Define and utilize XML and
XSL technologies.

- Define and employ Document Type Declarations (DTDs).
- Sort XML data using XSL.
- Display XML Data with the Data driven model.
- Compare and contrast commercial Web Servers.
- Utilize HTML form inputs using client-side scripts.

cookies using client-side scripts
- Create
dynamic Web pages that retrieve and display database data using Active Server Pages
- Process
form inputs using Active Server Pages
- Create
a Web application that uses client- and server-side
scripts
