HATE THAN LOVE
Hate, Love, which one to choose?
No matter which one, you always seem to lose.
Hate, lies, deceit, backstabbing come at you one after another,
kind of like beating the crap out of your little brother.
Yeah, we've been taught to forgive and forget.
But what can we do?
We forgive -- forgive -- and forgive again,
and we try to forget, but can we? Not likely.
You're done wrong, and in walk Hate and Love.
One says "Revenge, lets get some!"
The other says, "Love, they need some!"
You take love by the neck and throw her out.
After all, hate and revenge seem the most logical, don't they?
It happens again and again and again.
All they want is love and to be forgiven, But this time you can't.
Forgiveness, love, what are they?
All you know now is hate.
Forget the wrong they've done you? NO WAY!
Now you know, for you've been shown.
It's easier to hate than love.
Hate floods and consumes you like a raging river.
If you don't get out now you'll be trapped forever.
You're spiraling downward day by day,
Yet hate still seems to be the only way.
Hate soothes, calms, and consumes your entire being,
But it's nothing more than a horde of lies that you're seeing.
Call for help now, and maybe you'll be able to shake it.
If not, be prepared to sit there and take it.
After all, we forgive -- forgive -- and forgive again.
And we try to forget, but can we? Not likely.
Because now you know, for you've been shown.
It's easier to hate than love.
