I am devoting my Webpages to my adopted children. Please take the time and go to their pages on my site. You will also find information about thier different forms of disABILITIES. I am hoping that this can help people who do not deal with disABILITIES have a better understanding of Special Children. We are constantly taking them to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, and also to Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. They have a lot of medical needs due to their handicappes. Special Children require a lot of Medical care due to their diagnoses. It is not easy raising children with special needs. All parents of special children have to deal with serving their child, to the best of their ability. Due to thier child, they are limited to where they can go, and what they can do. The child must always be in the front of thier wants and need. I have a special place in my heart for all the parents of children with disABILITIES, as I have also found that thier own family usually give very little support. My day starts out at 5:00am, and sometimes goes into the late hours of the following night. I have two children that cannot stand still, and even move about during the night. They need constant watch and patience. I also have a child that is medically fragile, and has severe respitory problems. He cannot talk, and cannot tell us what hurts. It requires a lot of guesses on our part, and a constant hope of a better day tomorrow. I love my children very much, as they also add a lot to our life. They give us a lot of love, and add a lot of joy to our life. When you raise a child with disABILITES, it isn't just until they are eighteen or twenty five. It is a life long endearment, but one filled with a lot of rewards and love. I would not trade places with anyone on this earth, as they are my one life.
