  • Wagner led the league in RBI five times, slugging six, and doubles seven.

  • At the time of his retirement in 1917, Wagner held NL records for most career hits, runs, singles, doubles, and triples.

  • Won four straight batting titles between 1906 and 1909.

  • Wagner led the NL in stolen bases five times.

  • During his 21-year career, Wagner led the NL at least twice in every major offensive category except home runs and walks.

  • One of the first five players ever elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, 1936.
