MARJORIE E. WEEKES, 83, died on May 25, 2004 in
Stephenville, TX, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in
Ranger, TX.
Mrs. Weekes was born in Morton Valley, TX on May 11, 1921.
She was the daughter of Earl & Myrtle (Whatley) Moon. She
was a 1938 graduate of Strawn High School and married Joe
Weekes in Strawn, TX, in Jan. of 1942. He preceded her in
death. She was a secretary for the Ranger schools for many
years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors at the time of her death include daughters Betty
Joe Goleman of Phoenix, AZ and Joy Felan & Trey of Stephen-
ville, sister Betty Gardner of Strawn, grandsons Buck and
Joe Golemon of Phoenix, AZ & nephews Rod Gardner of Menard,
and Ronny Gardner of San Angelo.
