CALVIN EUGENE LONG, 85, passed away on July 29,
2009 in Eastland, TX, with burial in Colony Cemetery
near Ranger, TX.
Calvin was born October 8, 1923 in Ranger to Aaron
and Melissa (White) Long. He attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1944 and served during WWII
from 1944-1946. He lived in the Ranger for most
of his life and worked for the City of Ranger. He
was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his
brother, Jimmy Long (RHS-1954). He is survived
by his sister-in-law, Pauline Long.
