Homicide is a TV-drama that follows Homicide Detectives working in Baltimore MD. The show depicts the investigation following a Homicide as well as the detectives personal lives. Its issues are wide based and the legalities remain realistic. Most of the shows themes are in a chronological logical sequence and have been running since the 1992-93 season. It is shown on NBC on Friday nights in the 9 pm (Central) time slot. The re-runs are shown nightly on Lifetime at 10 pm (Central), but the network tends to run shows out of sequence. Law & Order is the most complete Cop & Lawyer show ever made. It starts with the commission of the crime up thru the prosecution/trial. And unlike most shows of its kind the outcome is not always a fairytale ending. The legal aspects are on que with laws and seldom roam off track. The plots tend to mirror current events in the real world....i.e. The Murders of Nicole Simpson and Jon Bennet Ramsey. The show has been in production since the ________ season. It is currently in the 9 pm (Central) time slot on NBC Wednesday nights. It is also in syndication and shows on A&E four times a day: 12 pm, 6 pm, 10 pm, and 2 am. The A&E network tends to run the shows out of sequence but it is not relevant to the plot. There have also been a few instances in which Law & Order & Homicide have collaborated on a show but that is few and far between. The shows actors/actresses have come and gone from the Detective to the Lieutanant to the Assistant District Attorney.
