Greetings from Tümohe. Hello, welcome.

Te Waka o Tainui - an overview coming soon to this spot
is my ancestral canoe.
Waikato is my sacred river
Waikato of a hundred monsters
At each bend a monster, At each turn a monster
One foot stands on the sacred mountain of Taupiri.  There sleeps my mother, Taruke Pana.
She raised me as her own.
My other foot stands on Maungatautari.
There sleeps my father, Matenga Kukutai Clark.
Ngäti Koroki, Ngäti Hauä,
and Ngäti Tïpä are my bones, my family.
I sneeze the essence of life!

Welcome to "Te Reo o Tü".  I have developed these pages to display to the world the knowledge and insight of this immodest person (however little it is).  Anyway, these pages are a beginning for me to share with family, friends and you some of the treasures and gifts handed down from our ancestors.  Another aim is to help those wanting to learn more about the Mäori language and its  roots.
