Main Influence : No one DJ, and I don't really listen to other DJ tapes, because I want what I play not to be sub-consiously influenced by anyone elses style.

When do you see yourself knocking DJing on the head : Just can't see it happening.
Where in the World would you most like to play : Ibiza, thats obvious, or the Love Parade in Germany (1,000 000 saw Carl Cox there, 1 million!)
How would you describe the style of your sets : Powertrance, simple as.
The one and only MC Shocker started life in a bedroom MC'ing to the invisible crowd that were on live rave tapes, just the usual 15 year old thing!! El Shocko is really a veteran when it comes to Full On Partying, with regular visits to Pulse at Swansea University, but the first rave he went to was during the summer of 1991 (14 yrs old!!). It was an illegal rave, out on some hill just outside of Swansea. What a little bastard!!! Fantazia & Universe were also regular events visited by this curious little boy. His first experience with the mic came at an Illegal Party (Basebox) in a warehouse in Forest Fach, about 1993. With that he was hooked, but did not get his first real "break" until late 1994, when he entered Martha's in Swansea on a Friday Night, for a night called Tick Tock. This happened at exactly the same time as another rather large event, called Southern Exposure, at nearby Porthcawl. That particular night all the Tick Tock Resident MC's were at Southern, and the resident DJ went around Martha's on a quest to find who could MC for the night, and promptly found Shocker. It took him another year to get another booking, ie name on the flyer, and then 4 months after that, he was made resident. This was early 1996. Through Martha's and Tick Tock he met DJ Juice & DJ Cally, and after the demise of Tick Tock, he was "adopted" into the G.S.I. crew as their resident mc. And thats where you'll find him today! Main Influence : Ribbz, & MC Saxon (Swansea old skool MC) & I also influence myself, as I've been on the Dance Floor, I'd like to think I know what is needed and when it's needed. I can relate to the crowd, I've been there.
Biggest Crowd : Devotion (NYE 96/97) There were between 6 & 7 thousand people there. Due to the cancellation of another DJ, the promoters asked DJ Juice to play another set in the main room, and it was here that the GSI Live PA started to take shape.
Favourite Phrase/rhyme : There's a few, ummm lyrical miracle, move it to the left, right and the center, jump around...thats the way ya meant ta, and just do it, everybody move to it.
Where on this Planet, would you most like to MC : Within the scene, i've already achieved my personal goal, by playing Helter Skelter (The Sanctuary), but if I have to consider every possible place, then it would have to be a large festival, such as Creamfields or Glastonbury, anywhere with a large up for it crowd.
When do you think you'll put the mic away for ever : Clouded the future is.........BUT, I ain't stopping yet, things are only just beginning....
