G.S.I. are made up of 3 members including 2 DJ's. The band also has 2 MC's who participate in most of the bands gigs, and a crew of die hards who help with the input into the production of the bands tracks.

Influences

Far too many to mention. DJ Cally & Juice have played at some of the UK's major clubs and events, and both have extensive record collections, which they draw many influences from.

G.S.I. HISTORY

G.S.I. first met up in 1992. We bought an AKAI sampler off Oceanic (Remember "Take me into Insanity"?). Started by recording on our own label "HYPERACTIVE". We also released material on several small independant labels and even got one of their tracks licensed to an album on "REACT".

As our style then changed dramatically we decided to leave the old label and set up a brand new Label, POWERTRANCE RECORDINGS. It reflects what the G.S.I. DJ's play in their sets. Both DJ's are getting recognition for their unique style of trance which is being played throughout the U.K. (and America!). Powertrance is now commonly known as the style they play and not just a name for their record label.

Press Reviews DJ Cally has been DJ'ing since 1993 and DJ Juice since 1995. Both have received widespread coverage from the Scene's Leading Dance Magazines in connection with their DJ and production work. Their past releases have all been charted in magazines, including an early release, "I Can't Dance"" getting to No. 2 in the Scottish Dance Charts, just behind EXPANSION's "Move your Body" remix. Their latest track "THE THEME" has already been charted in MIXMAGS Updates Shop charts at No. 5.
