The series begins on 11 February with 29 wannabe contestants ready to play.  But the audition process hasn't finished yet!  To be apart of the series, each of the wannabe contestants have to complete two simple challenges to show their involvement levels in the game.  The 18 most active players will be selected to continue playing the game and the 11 least active players will be eliminated.

The first challenge is called "Expose Yourself".  Each contestant must send in a profile of themselves including their Yahoo! ID name, their real name, age, location, email, brief description and profile picture.  The twist to the game is that each contestant may not send in their own information, someone else has to do it for them.

The second challenge is called "Checking the Files".  Each contestant must answer 10 quiz questions about the last series.  They are:

1. Who was the third eldest contestant?
2. Name one rule the group violated in the first episode's challenge.
3. Who sent in the picture for the "Where's Wally" challenge?
4. What three words were printed on the flags in the labyrinth?
5. What colour feet does shark_white_great_the's teddy bear have?
6. How many pieces were in the jigsaw puzzle?
7. Which contestant thought the host made a vital error in the quiz, and was eliminated that episode?
8. At what coordinate did aussienetman bury himself?
9. Which eliminated contestants picked the series outcome correctly?
10. Name two contestants that noone ever thought was the mole.

In the meantime a call for two moles is made...they too are being selected during this process.

As so much went on in the first episode, here's what happened in short and in chronological order!

• Isaiah is the first to send in his answers to the quiz scoring 9 out of 10.
• RushHarleyII immediately drops out of the game after signing up for another game.
• Blake is next getting a quiz in but only scores 7 out of 10.
• Isaiah sends his profile and picture in but uses an alternative address rather than giving the information to someone else.
• Yves is the first contestant to get a perfect score on his quiz.
• Natalie sends Sharna's profile in but doesn't have a picture.  She says that Sharna and her are both cuties.
• Justin chooses to team up with Dave and decides to boot menlover_1986.  He also gets a score of 7 on his quiz.
• Toni doesn't care if the host boots her cause she refuses to read a summary that is '1500 pages long'.  However she does send in some answers for the quiz scoring her 6 out of 10.  Blake submits her profile and picture in.
• Natalie is the next contestant to receive a perfect score on her quiz.  She decides to keep Sharna and boot menlover_1986.
• Connor scores a 9 on his quiz and sends his own profile in.
• Robbie sends in Dave's profile and picture.  Robbie being the last series mole gets a perfect score on the quiz.
• Dave gives back the favour and sends in Robbie's profile and picture.
• Steve sends a email to the host saying "What's the host's email?"
• Nick scores a 9 out of 10 on his quiz.
• Dave being an active member last series gets a perfect score on his quiz.
• Steve realising he sent that email to the host sends in his quiz for a score of 9 out of 10.  He decides to vote in Dave who he refers to as the friendly guy, and votes out Sharna.
• mnightod is the next player to drop out of the game.
• Robbie gets in Yves' profile and picture.
• Billy is the first person to get his profile in by an unknown email addy, and gets a 6 out of 10 on his test.  He sends in his own picture.
• Dan gets his profile in by someone not in the game (which is legal!) and scores an 8 out of 10.  He gets his picture in on time.  He decides to keep Nick and boot Corey, the first series winner.
• Veronica gets her friend to send in her profile and picture.
• Connor decides to keep Corey and boot aussienetmancountry which he realises is Corey's alias.
• Sharna keeps her friend Natalie and decides she would want to boot Nick.
• Dave gets Steve's profile and picture in, explaining the baby in the picture is his daughter and not him.
• Sharna gets Natalie's profile and picture in, and also gets a perfect score on her quiz.
• Robbie decides to keep Dave with him and decides to boot menlover_1986.
• Dave keeps Robbie in the game and decides he wants to get rid of Corey.
• Billy votes for Corey on his team, and gets rid of Casey
• Blake thinks Toni and bohemiandreamer are cool and active, but doesn't want to boot anyone off.
• Tim gets a 9 on his quiz, decides to have Toni on his team and decides to boot corelrep.
• Yves wants Robbie on his team and decides to boot noone.
• Nick also sends in Steve's information even though it had already been received by Robbie.
