Allies
Every superhero (or team of superheroes, as the case may be) needs a support group. For the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, that support group included a small little pack of people who lived in and around Angel Grove. Below is a list of those people.
Mentors
Zordon of Eltar - Zordon was the creator of the Mighty Morphin Powers, and mentor to the Power Rangers in general all the way until the beginning of Turbo. He constantly worked with Alpha V and the Rangers to keep the world safe. He was later captured by Dark Specter, and then destroyed by Andros to stop the evils currently threatening to annihilate all existence of Good in the universe.
Alpha V - Alpha is the fifth in a long line of robots created on the planet Edenoi. He assists Zordon by acting as his hands, and is always working on something to help the Rangers. In turn, the Rangers showed him how to, partially at least, feel emotions like laughter and sadness.
Angel Grove Citizens
Bulk & Skull - These two are undeniably the two longest running characters in the entire series. They lasted from the first episode all the way up until the end of PRiS, and then Bulk continued in the show until the end of PRLG. They were a comedy pair that, first, liked to "bully" (if it can be called that) the team, and then they became hunters of Rangers' identities, never knowing that they were right under their noses. They later reformed and became Junior Police Officers, and then helped Lieutenant Stone open his own private detective business. During PRiS, they helped a crazy scientist in most of his schemes.
Ernie - Ernie ran the Juice Bar, where the Rangers were often found hanging out and teaching classes. Often he gave out free drinks to celebrate occassions, but sometimes he would bring a round to an empty table, due to the high frequency of monster attacks in Angel Grove. Ernie later left Angel Grove to help with a construction project in South America.
Miss Appleby - She was the Rangers' teacher for many of their high school classes, and often her assignments would lead to disastrous events or monster attacks (example: the english assignment involving the Rangers' favorite time period that led to the summoning of the Wizard of Deception, recreation of the Green Ranger, and a trip back in time).
Lieutenant Stone - He was first a police officer who reformed Bulk & Skull, though often sending them on crackpot missions, which continued when he became a private detective during Zeo. When Ernie left for the construction project in South America, Lt. Stone took over the ownership of the Youth Center.
Principal Kaplan - He was the principal of Angel Grove High, and even though he was very strict, there were many events that were simply out of his control (like a certain food fight in the beginning of the first season). Though, it was also hard to take him seriously since he donned a silly toupee.
Aliens
Dex - Dex was the prince of Edenoi, and the alter ego of the Masked Rider. He aided the Rangers in the destruction of Count Dregon, and then eventually went to Earth himself to help protect it.
Lexian - Lexian was the King of Edenoi, and Dex's grandfather. He was the one who gave Dex the Masked Rider powers, and told him to go to Earth. It is unclear what happened to him after the events with Dregon transpired.
Aquitan Rangers - Zordon and Alpha called the Aquitan Rangers after Mastervile had reversed the world's polarity and turned the Rangers into little kids. They helped defend the planet while Billy worked to find a solution. Later, they helped during the Zeo era, and aided the cause of Good during the Countdown to Destruction.
Dulcea - Dulcea is the Master Warrior of the planet Pheados, and the Keeper of the Ninjetti Powers. She defeated a tribe of Tengu warriors on her own, helped the Rangers reach the Ninjetti Temple ruins, and then directed them to the monolith where the Great Power was kept. She also introduced the Ninjetti...which they never used again, because the movie was technically in an alternate universe.
