SYNOPSIS
While bicycling, Alan crashes into Tim's bike, breaking the headlight. Alan lies to Tim, claiming someone else did it, and then rides away to meet up with his friends.

Alan then proceeds to tell his buddies that he beat up Tim by using some karate on him, but Billy and Mentor saw everything that happened and confront Alan. When they promise not to tell his friends, instead of doing the right thing, Alan tells them another lie, saying that he went into the rhino exhibit at the zoo. His pals start to doubt that Alan has been telling the truth, so to get them to believe him, he goes to the zoo to prove how tough he is.

When at the zoo, Alan makes several excuses as to why he can't go into the cages, such as too many people being around. When his friends have had just about enough, Alan finally goes into a cage with a really nasty looking bird that then escapes. As Alan tries to capture the bird, he falls over the edge of the fence into the lion exhibit!

Luckily, though, Billy and Mentor went to the zoo, too, just in time for Billy to become Captain Marvel, wrestle the lion and rescue both Alan and the missing bird.

Alan discovered that lying to make yourself popular is not only wrong, but sometimes dangerous, and if you make a mistake and lie to cover it up, you've made two.
