After six long, long, loooong years, the American Mole has finally returned to its roots with a brand-new regular people edition. I can only hope this is the start of a new tradition. Tell all your friends and get the ratings up so the show never disappears again!

The first player is Alex. He's a 31-year-old musician from Pennsylvania who says his strategy is to be "the nice guy."
Next is Ali. She's a 24-year-old model and former UFC ring girl from St. Louis who says she thinks her beauty will help her manipulate the other players and possibly make them dismiss her intellectually.
The following player is Bobby. He's a 25-year-old restaurant manager from Philadelphia, and a self-professed hardcore Mole fan who thinks having had to hide his homosexuality in the past gives him helpful experience in being deceitful.
Clay is our next player. He's a 32-year-old criminal litigation lawyer, also from Philadelphia, who feels that his analytical and argumentative skills give him the edge.
Craig is next. He's a 30-year-old graphic designer from San Diego. He says his endearing personality and non-threatening appearance will help him gain the players' trust, which he will then turn against them.
Next on the rundown is Kristen. She's a 35-year-old neuroscientist from Santa Monica. She also believes her beauty will be an asset in the game, and says that no one ever thinks she's as smart as she is.
The elder stateswoman of the group is Liz. She's a 60-year-old retiree from Montana who plans to put her age, life experience, and "shocking" sense of humor to her advantage.
The next player, Marcie is a 31-year-old homemaker from California. She's eager to prove she's more than "just a stay-at-home mom," and thinks the others will underestimate her.
Next is Mark. He's a 42-year-old high school teacher, soccer coach, and family man from Wisconsin. Also a big fan of the show for years, Mark counts as a plus his competitive spirit.
Nicole is a 32-year-old OBGYN from Chicago. She describes herself as a social chameleon who can fit in any situation, going from "street" to "professional" at will.
The next player is for no really good reason my preseason pick, Paul. Here's to going out on a limb. He's a 29-year-old utility worker and wedding DJ from New York. As a kid, his father worked for a spy gadget company and used the high tech toys to spy on his children, experience which Paul thinks will give him an advantage.
The last player is Victoria, a 26-year-old retail manager from Texas who says she can usually get what she wants from people and that people often underestimate her intelligence.
The host, in a bit of tabula rasa for me, is Jon Kelley. I don't know one thing about this guy.
